That is just a FANTASTIC design isn't it?!!!

I wonder would it limit one to *only* very seasoned dry wood, or dry ash for that matter, as a lot of softwoods can be knotty and annoying, even when well-seasoned...

Other than that, it's definitely the way to go. Fastest and greenest splitting system I've seen so far!!

I think it is a bit dangerous. The operator's head was too near that "thing" while he was fishing for the other log, with his left hand.
