  • oh my god

  • they have make long time ago a good job by this pharaoh.

  • oh my god look 2 his body

    subhan allah

God is able 2 to everything

  • Allah sent Prophet Moses (PBUH). Go back to Egypt and tell the pharaoh to free my people. but his arrogant, and refuse to do so. and said to Moses that he is god who give life and death.

Allah punish and destroy him, then preserve his body as a sign for the unbelievers.

Read the Whole Story in the Quraan.

  • It's easy man. Drag that hell to the lab. Find out if he consumed any sea water. Is my suggestion help you all? Don't quarrel about the dead body guys.

  • How can you say that it is Pharaoh ? Why cant it be any other man ?

  • Because it has said in Quran. Do you have another book to prove in which it has written its not his body.

  • haha, you misunderstood me. For muslims, its definitly pharaoh , Allah has told us in the quran 1500 years ago, that he preserved pharaoh for the future generation to see, muslims have been waiting for long to see it. I wanted to kno if there was somthing in that body that showed that he was indeed pharaoh?

  • God didn't preserve his body, it was ritualistically mummified by humans and buried in the Valley Of Kings.

They know it was him because it was customary to write the Pharaoh's name to identify the body.

  • This body (along with the other pharaohs bodies discovered with it buried in the Valley of Kings) was MUMMIFIED BY HUMANS.

They know it was him because his name was written next to his body (as is customary).

If anything it proves the Qur'an was incorrect!

  • At the time of the Prophet, and for quite some time afterward, we could not guess that a science called museology would be developed to harbor objects of historical value, amongst others mummified bodies of the Pharaohs

  • At the time of the revelation of the Quran, mummified bodies of all the Pharaohs lay concealed in the Valley of Kings along the banks of the Nile. Their discovery took place in the 19th century. The Pharaoh mentioned in the Quran may have been any of them, it happens to be among those preserved in the Cairo Museum, open to public visitation.

  • To the period in which Moses is believed to belong,

Rameses II and his son Merneptah correspond. Merneptahs body bears the traces of fatal blows. It is reported that these marks may have been caused during his drowning or after the recovery of his body, that had washed ashore; the Egyptians mummified him like all the other Pharaohs. The evidence available does not permit us to derive a convincing conclusion about the details of his death.

  • However, no conflicting relationship could be established between the death of this Pharaoh and the account given in the Quran. The discovery of the Pharaohs body took place after an interval of 3000 years (1881-1898). Considering that the Quran had predicted that Pharaohs body would constitute a sign, one supposes that it should have been found. Indeed it was found. When and how? Well, after a time gap of 3000 years.

  • What happened though was as the Quran predicted. ...But verily, many people are heedless of Our signs.

  • The Quran says "We save", not "man saves".

God did not save this body, humans did. They saved all the others too.

Mummification was well known. It had been practised for thousands of years, and Egypt was easily within travelling distance.

To claim it was unknown is simply ignorance.

  • Allah created man and man preserved the mummies!

    Quran = reminder/sign/Miracle!

  • Look up the word "miracle" in the dictionary. I don't think "things that happen quite often" class as miracles :-)

  • "The Quran says "We save", not "man saves"."---- you have to be an idiot to come up with something like tht. It means tht it happened because he wanted it 2 happen

u surely miss the point.the preserved bodies of kings r now in public display... public display of preserved dead bodies of mighty pharaohs or any1 isnt something tht 1 could hav imagind bak thn... it was just 2 unrealistic for people of arabia 1500yrs ago to believevnd by the way. its a SIGN for the believers of today..present time

  • When asked what this verse meant Muhammad explained how the Israelites didn't believe Pharaoh was dead and so Allah made the sea spit out his body as proof he was dead.

Allah "saved" it body from the sea to show to them. It is NOT about mummification to be discovered 1400 years later.

Read the Hadith. You are being conned.

  • haha... my friend.... the hadith you are talking about are testimony by people that were close to Muhammad(pbuh)... we only claim the Quran to be 100% accurate...that is...the word of god ...

No one is claiming that its about the process of mummification.... is it so hard to get that we are talking about the fact that it is displayed publicly ? the great king's body ... isnt it preserved indeed for future generation (us and after us) to see ?? that was the thing...i hope u get it

  • *IF* the Quran said God would preserve the body and it would later be shown all around the world that would at least be more impressive.

All it says though is "We shall save your body", considering so many other Pharaoh's bodies were "saved", and the practice of mummification was well know (especially in that region) it is completely insignificant.

Why do you look for miracles that just aren't there?

  • he did mention "Today we will preserve your body so you can be a Sign for people who come after you."...........he did mention.....you know...a person like you..if Allah would say what you said he should have said....a guy like u would say..."ATLEAST allah could say that his body would be in Cairo museum"........

  • No, I would just expect something unusual to happen.

This Pharaoh was the ONLY one mentioned in the Qur'an saying that GOD would do something, and yet his circumstances are absolutely identical to ALL other Pharaohs who were mummified despite NOT having GOD claim to do something.

So, in what way is this Pharaoh ANY different to all the others?

    Answer: He isn't.

  • You miss the point once again my friend, THE GREAT PHARAOHS....on public display..... and Allah didnt say that the other pharaohs wont be on display.... we should talk according to the amount of information we have in hand...and according to that... it is a wonderful thiing that the great kings are now publicaly displayed....just as the Quran says.

Pray for me, and I pray for you...may Allah guide us all.

  • The Qur'an doesn't say the Pharaoh will be on public display.

The Qur'an says that GOD will preserve his body. Humans preserved his body, just as humans preserved all other bodies.

I could say "We preserve your body" about ANY Pharaoh and it would be true. The mummification of dead Pharaohs was also well known in the region at the time.

I'm sorry, but this is nothing beyond what a man could easily have concocted, and proves nothing.

  • quoting again... Today, We will save your body, so that you may become a sign to those who come after you. But verily, many people are heedless of Our signs.

    10-Jonah, 90-92

the fact that his body was found...and preserved indicates god's will to do it...but thats not what we are talking about... what we say is..."so that you may become a sign to those who come after you" ...we did come after him in this world...and we have him on display...

  • "the fact that his body was found, and preserved indicates god's will to do it"

    No it doesn't.

1: If it was never found then the verse in the Quran would not be disproven.

2: If he was found then people would say it was a miracle or "sign".

Either way, it was a sure-bet winner. What about the other 7 pharaoh's found with this one, are those Mummies miracles too?

  • 1. Never found: obviously disproven

    2. Yes he was found and its a sign.

About the other 7 pharaoh's. IF I predict that you will go to Alaska on september 2060 and you end up goinig there in september 2060 along with your family ...does that make my prediction wrong?

its not mummies=miracle. its the fact that the pharaoh is preserved and displayed in public that was predicted by the quran..now it doesnt matter how many of his relatives are made it to the musuem.

  • "1: Disproven" - It would only be disproven if he had set a time limit. YOUR prediction can be disproven if it has not happened by 2061. Muhammad's "prediction" was not time limited so would merely remain "not yet proven".

2: It is not a sign, it was standard practise.

    "doesn't matter how his relatives".

Sure it does, because it is not miraculous. If there was NO mummification THEN it would have been a miracle.

The act of mummification was well known.

  • @dhakagod but you know brother/sister whom ever Allah S.w.t guides nobody can missguide him and whom ever He live missguided nobody can guide him. that is the case with those who argue about that this is not a sign and proof from Allah s.w.t. what ever you tell them they will not belive couse they are blind. may Allah s.w.t guide them and make us stronger in our deen amin. salam

  • @el1vi2r3 Salam, yes, you are right. And if you need Allah's guidance please consider the Qur'an with care. I beg you to read it, and ask Allah to guide you. Inshallah you will succeed

  • its the sign for un belivers ??? Why tell my

  • cool.

  • He looked like THAT during his reign? Man, he needed some serious skin care. And dental work.

What exactly is this supposed to be a sign of for us unbelievers?

  • read read read QURAN and try to understant it

  • arsenalseat -

That's the all-purpose answer, isn't it? How about YOU try to tell me in your own words what that's supposed to mean? Are you able to do that?

And the Quran is certainly on my to-read list; so are a thousand other books.

  • yohei72 hi thank you for your commet when your ready to read it contract this guy on youtube CONVERTED2ISLAM he may help you.thank you

  • arsenalseat - I'll take your reply as "No, I have no answers - I just repeat what I'm told to."

This CONVERTED2ISLAM guy will at least have to spell a lot better than you to have any chance of convincing me of anything.

  • thank you

  • watch?v=TOPjnEUedgo

  • This may sound so simple but from every angle you look at it Muslims never insult the Israeli prophets but the Christians, Jews always find it easy to through insults at Muhammad. What an irony - under Muhammad's guidance Muslims never insult Moses, Abraham, Jesus etc. coz they was our previous prohpet

  • All Christians? All Jews? "Always"? I'll bet you'd be quite offended if anyone made that sort of blanket statement about Muslims.

And what's wrong with insulting prophets anyway? Muhammad, Moses, and Jesus were all frauds, if they existed at all. Insults are called for, I think.

  • Hey hey think 2wice before u speak u shithead.. i dnt know which religion u belong to but remember its easy 2 insult any religion, but dnt forget ur insulting ur own ancistors, u orginate from them

  • Ha. You're one to talk about being judicious in your comments, "shithead."

I have no religion at all. And yes, religions make it very easy to insult them, mainly by all being more or less ridiculous.

My ancestors don't include any of the gentlemen mentioned above. But I'll criticize my ancestors in those cases where they deserve it; I'm not them, I'm me, and they're no reflection on me.

  • allahu akbar

  • Moronmonk... why are you such a moron?.... couldn't you just be a monk without the moron part?

  • This may sound so simple but from every angle you look at it Muslims never insult the Israeli prophets but the Christians, Jews always find it easy to through insults at Muhammad. What an irony - under Muhammad's guidance Muslims never insult Moses, Abraham, Jesus etc.

  • the found him in the ocean? underwater?

  • how can we say that he is pharaoh of egypt. im sure there would b many dead bodies in sea and oceans but.............

  • IN British Museum there is one very unique mummy which was found by Red Sea, at place called Jabalain. It resembles a person with the beard, it is the oldest mummy (Scientists says that it is age approx 3 thousand years), even all inside organs were not removed. Also Scientists says that even mummy can t be preserved so well within such long period. So what is the secret of such good preserve of this mummy?

  • con't..

See the answer in the Holy Qur an where it is says that the Fir aun will be preserved as a warning for generations.

"This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!" HQ 10:92

  • It is a sign.. wow it really is. A warning of what? Now that is open to speculation?

  • a warning to those heedless unbeliever!

  • pharon was king of eygpt!

  • Does anyone know which pharaoh it was?

  • Ramses the 2nd

  • This body was found under water, not in earth or some box. It was found in the red sea in Egypt and there is an extensive underwater excavation going today for other artefacts. The quran talks about pheroh and how his body would be preserved (even in water) to one day be reveal to mankind again.

  • hes kinda creepy lookin

  • they brought his body to the british museum a few years back! omg thanx

  • i no it real but still ew

  • ew wtf

  • I've found that in this region of the world, where they have so many antiquities and artifacts, they don't tend to take very good care of them, but these ones are in protective cases which is good to see, plus if they're from the museum in cairo they are pretty good at looking after their relics there.

  • hi can u tell me were this phoroh is

  • its kept in the Cairo museum. and it was also taken to many parts of the world, like Dallas ,Chicago and many other places for the people to see.

  • Does he have a Grill?

  • the paraoh, allah has destroy him and his army.

  • so true....

  • I don't get it. What does Ramses's mummy have to do with Islam?

  • He's the one who fight with moses, chasing moses through the red sea and tortured a lot of people during moses time. Allah destined him to be like this to let us learn and open our 'glued' eyes and heart. He's been said a lot in the Quran. If u interested, pick the Quran, open and read about pharoah and moses. Then u know.

  • Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all have a lot from the old testament. They all share a belief in Moses, Abraham, etc as great figures in their respective religions. And given that it was supposedly Ramses army who chased the jews as they fled Egypt, well there you go.

  • They are still not sure that it was Ramses, but even if it was, so what? Mummyfication was a common practice then. Every pharaoh was mummified, even ordinary people. The oldest mummy was found in Algeria. Search Mystery of the Black Mummy. I still don't see what this has to do with Islam or what kind of sign this is.

  • perishednations . com

see an amazing flash presentation of the Pharoah story at the website above

  • You should the Quran Surah 10:90. There is a big suprise in there. Sallaam 3eleikum.

  • subhanAllah... i had to stop the vid it was freaking me out :-S

  • it is not the body of the one Qur'an is Talking about becoz this one was mummified but that one natural mummy

  • An eye-opening and most revealing discovery!

    xxPeace and lovexx

  • how old is that body??/

  • That is Pharaoh's body which is a few thousand years old.

  • Older then Jesus

  • Jesus is old

  • yes, but Jesus is a Hebrew who lived AFTER this time and HE is RISEN FROM THE DEAD!

IT IS HE WHO WILL RULE RETURN AND JUDGE!

YESHUA, OF ISRAEL WILL SET ALL THING

including you and I ACCORDING TO HIS STANDARD!

  • this is the grace of the almighty allah.his body is not taken by earth, thrown by water, thats y its likethat.from QURAN

  • You can believe what you will tyson tyhpoon.

It has been speculated by some that Pharaoh did not go down into the sea but that his army did. Either way, his heart was hardened

and he saw defeat by the LORD of HOSTS

and Israel went into the Sinai Desert where they received the commandments.

    Happy New Year.
