what kind of flour r u using? is it self-rising or all purpose? and wht type of sugar? im trying to make this tomorrow hopefully it will work out. thanks for the recipe! :D
Im also gonna use the can strawberries n its n the refrigerator chilling so I wont have juice running every were....thank u for responding bac lol..merry Christmas to u and ur family
I went n got all my ingredient yesterday...I cant wait to make this homemade...I bought the Paula deen deep dish 9 inch round pie pan...I Hope my family love it
This would be my 3rd time baking this and i love it :) But it's too big sometimes, can i divide all the ingredients into half? Or you have a specific amount? If do, please share :) Thanks!
@ninanadira u can definitely divide the recipe by half, that's what I normally do & that is what I did in the video since my family & I don't eat a whole lot of cheesecake. Here's a tip, when I m too lazy to make my crust I just buy those already made crust at the grocery store and if you divide the recipe in half it will make one generous amount of cheesecake & if u use the whole recipe as seen in vid then it will make 3 of the already made crust pans.
hello..was wondering if i could use strawberries on top instead of blueberries..and if so do i substitute any of the ingredients for something else or do i keep everything the same except for the bluberries? and i love that song and yuor video is really nice..thanks for giving us step by step instructions..god bless
@keanna26 I m glad I could share with you one of my favorite recipes. As for the strawberries used as topping you do not have to change anything with the new york creamcheese recipe it self. If you plan on using fresh strawberries i suggest looking up a recipe for "strawberry topping for cheesecake" on google. I think fresh chopped strawberries on the cheesecake won't taste as good...thats just me >_^
I cheat and use a canned blueberries so I don't have to worry about preparing another thing.
Please, what do you mean by 2 1/2 lb cream cheese? I am not a baker, just trying to learn by myself so i have to be certain with the ingredients. I am sure my co-seminarians will love this cake and i'm dying to try it. God bless and thank you!
@fdposa 2 1/2 lbs of cream cheese is also 40 ounces of cream cheese. which is also five 8 oz blocks of creamcheese that you can get in the grocery store. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any additional questions :)
@tobibolle Yes, I don't make the blueberry topping myself. It's from a can and it's very delicious but I m not sure why your blueberry topping taste like that lol? I usually chill it before I put the topping on because it helps stabilize the blueberry topping. Thanks for tuning in!
Wow. Of all the cheesecakes videos ive watched on youtube [and its been many]... this one is the best!!! Thank u so much!!! It was so easy and did not confuse me at all. :]
@TheLMFM21 Thanks! Actually I know I do have a caramel recipe. When I find it I will try it and if it's good I will try and make a vid ;-) stay tunned!
