  • Комп мат поставил... Ха. Комп на middle был а не на hard. да....

Да там любой шахматист уламал бы эту железку. Во-первых где вы взяли такие шахматы??? Супер с такими фигурами грал сам Garry Kasparov и Magnus Carlsen.

    Я тоже хочу такие шахматы.

  • its real pieces on a computer chess board

  • Are you using fiducial markers to note the kind of piece or just tracking the changes to the board and using the intrinsic rules of chess to your advantage here?

  • @calitastictia Yes, I'm just tracking the changes to the board with rules checking

  • This is kinda like the chess board in Cowboy Bebop

  • This would be very cool on Surface.

  • Now build a lego robotic arm to do the moving and I'll be impressed.

  • how does the webcam interpret the moves?

  • Ridiculously cool. Turn off 'where I moved' reminders and use it as a recorder of games...or play alone =)

    The computer seems slow.

Where can I get one of these!?

  • Awesome work!

  • This is cool, but you should have a robotic arm for the opponent.

  • @0rhy No, it needs to slide the pieces using magnets from below. That would be impressive. This is neat.

  • @AcidRephlex Wouldnt work for certain pieces mind due to locations

  • Impressive demo, but I think webcam requirement will really spoil it if you ever decide to commercialize it. Maybe you should use a touchscreen instead, when the touchscreens of that size become affordable.

  • very impressive! That is some nice work.

  • Now you just need the computer to tell you where to move to win.

  • Your demo is very impressive but where did you get the board and how does it connect to the computer?

  • @david99lee The board is all self-built. LCD projector and webcam are

connected to the PC via USB.

  • Awesome. I want one!

  • Brilliant! Can you do battleship? :)
