Carpenter: Excellent video...really well done. Didn't Joel Olstein say in a Larry King interview that he didn't believe that Christ was the only way to salvation. I'd add him to your list of deceivers. I think most of these "preachers" on TV get a little too much of the good life ie. private Jets, palatial homes, vacations, clothes, glitz & glam and forget God.
I do have him on my list. I show him in some other videos. He has a watered down gospel that can't save anyone. People flock to hear him speak which is sad. But Paul told us that before Jesus return that people will want their ears tickeled and he does a great job of that.

Not to pick a fight, but how about 1 John 5:20: "He is the true God and eternal life." Read in context, this clearly refers to Jesus. If Jesus wasn't God, why did he allow people to worship him (Matt. 8:2, 14:33; John 9:38)? Peter wouldn't let men do that (Acts 10:25-26), neither would Paul (Acts 14:8-18), nor an angel (John 22:8-9). Worship is reserved for God alone. If Jesus were not God, allowing people to worship him would be sin; thus, he'd be a sinner; thus, an unworthy sacrifice.

That is a straw man argument and unrelated to the subject. This seems to be a consistent pattern with christians. The breakdown: 1. I was choosing to drive, not 'created'. 2. The bridge is tangible/provable, not a 'revealed' truth 3. The result for ignoring is a consequence of natural law, not a punishment for disbelief. 4. I would not be obliged to take the persons word for it blindly but could drive down the road and SEE it for myself . I could go on but you get the point.

That's the point, you CANNOT see him and so it begs the question of why there would be such a harsh, eternal punishment in a lake of fire for people that cannot believe because it is not apparent to any of the human faculties we posses. you say you are not a bad person and not deserving of hell. Well in this world you are probably a very good person who lives a life to help others and all good things in life. But that is not what God means about about a good person.
Each of us have sinned, and it;s our sins that seperate us from God. When you realize that what you've done in your life that God says is wrong, then you will know that by your very own actions, you have been seperated from God.
God made a way for each of us to come back to him, but he will not force us to do that. If we end up in hell, being seperated from God for all eternity, it is because we have rejectd him when we had a chance to believe.

The two gospels theology now is taking a hold of many people, and when they believe this nonsense, they are aggressive to teach it to others.

Thank you so much for your kind words. They were much needed this morning. I spent all day yesterday with another Christian who called me a heretic because I didn't beleive in two gospels and that I was preaching a gospel of works. How sad it was for me to try to show this person that they have bought into this new theology that teaches Jesus's gospel is different then Paul's gospel, so therefore there are two gospels. This is gaining much popularity with Christians now and it''s sad.
The gospel that you and I were taught and shown from scripture is now a heresy among many here at youtube. I was told that I love the lie more then the truth and that I am deceived to believe that gospel.

Yes, you are right, what many don't realize is that this scripture is not calling men gods but that the Judges of the Law were called little gods because of their authority and position of the Law.

Universalvation or universalist, are those who believe all are saved, whether they believe in Jesus or not. They teach that Jesus died for all men so all men are saved. this goes against what scriptures says, because Jesus spoke about hell and what happens to those who don't believe. So, that's the just of what universal salvation is.

When the preachers puts more focus on miracles or experiences then anything else, this is but ONE sign to not go to that church.
Many are seeking signs rather then wanting to learn the word of God. Paul speaks about the time when men will seek after signs rather then the truth of God's word, and this is what we are seeing today. Many miralces are being sought, and usually what goes with these signs are teachings that go against scripture.

I think you must be careful re Rick Warrren as far as salvation is concerned. He believes in the Christ of the Bible. He that has the Son has life, he that does not have the Son does not have life. Please show his false teaching but do not doubt his salvation. A real false teacher always denys Christ Deity and bodily resurrection. Rick does not do that. The Mormons do so no comparison there.

While I can't determine where anyone goes, I can by scripture judge a mans teachings. this is what I do, and not say this one or that one will go to hell, but if a man waters down the gospel to the point that others are headed for hell, then how are we to think on this?

When Rick Warren first started out the worst you could say about his teachings as that the Gospel was watered down. That was bad enought, but as time went on, he started to promote and encourage those in the Emergent Church movement, and mystical christianity along with contemplative prayer. The list is very long, and all these things are teachings that don't line up with scripture. His purpose driven church is another thing that was pretty bad to.
I think you make a mistake in accusing Rick Warren of being a false teacher. He can hardly be called a Christ denier.
Christian teachers: not always error free yet saved. Also, the great delusion is not now but during the Tribulation after the Rapture. It will be a judgment corresponding to the rejection of abundant light given to that generation.
Also, I do not see anywhere the authorization of women preachers; do you? Sincerely wanting to know your take on this matter ...
The Mormons don't deny Christ either, but it's not denying Christ that makes him a false teacher. It's his teachings and endorsing of the Emergent Church Movement, contemplative prayer, mystical christianity. If I want to put aside how God is presented in this book, the issues there are is modelism, universal salvation. Modelism is a false doctrine to for starts, and universal salvation is totally against what the Bible teaches. But even to say that the Father is an African American woman goes against scripture because the Father is always referenced as a male.
Modelism is the belief that God put on the Fathers costume in the Old Testament, then he threw off those clothes and put on the Jesus outfit, and then when he assended, took of his Jesus suit and put on the Holy Spirit costume. This goes against what the Bible teaches us about God. for those who can't understand, they think they have to make somthing up, and this is soooo wrong. There are many who believe this doctrine. It is a doctrine that can lead people to hell.

Not to pick a fight, but how about 1 John 5:20: "He is the true God and eternal life." Read in context, this clearly refers to Jesus. If Jesus wasn't God, why did he allow people to worship him (Matt. 8:2, 14:33; John 9:38)? Peter wouldn't let men do that (Acts 10:25-26), neither would Paul (Acts 14:8-18), nor an angel (John 22:8-9). Worship is reserved for God alone. If Jesus were not God, allowing people to worship him would be sin; thus, he'd be a sinner; thus, an unworthy sacrifice.

That is a straw man argument and unrelated to the subject. This seems to be a consistent pattern with christians. The breakdown: 1. I was choosing to drive, not 'created'. 2. The bridge is tangible/provable, not a 'revealed' truth 3. The result for ignoring is a consequence of natural law, not a punishment for disbelief. 4. That's the point, you CANNOT see him and so it begs the question of why there would be such a harsh, eternal punishment in a lake of fire for people that cannot believe because it is not apparent to any of the human faculties we posses. Would you push someone in a fire for not believing something they cannot see?

IF it were that way, then yes, what a horrible God, but when you know the whole story, and not just part of it, then it's easy to see God in a totally different perspective. Half a story doesn't make it true, only half of it.

How can you reconcile the fact that your god will throw many of the people you love into a fire? ...and not just for a second either but forEVER!! You ask how can I reconcile this. You have to know what hell is first. The fire that Jesus speaks of is not a physical fire, but a fire from within with regret. The regret that turning away from Jesus when they had a chance.
Those who have never heard the gospel wiill be judged differently then those who have heard it and rejected it.
Hell is not physically burning for eternity.

god being omniscient, or all-knowing, would have to have known how things were going to turn out. So, he created this world IN THE FULL KNOWLEDGE that MOST people would end up in hell. Who creates a situation like that? He could have made it so much different. Why create peole that you know are going to hell. Why did he create ME?? I don't believe, not because I'm a bad person deserving of punishment but because the evidence doesn't support it. I don't think that's a crime even if I'm wrong...

you say you are not a bad person and not deserving of hell. Well in this world you are probably a very good person who lives a life to help others and all good things in life. But that is not what God means about about a good person.
Each of us have sinned, and it;s our sins that seperate us from God. When you realize that what you've done in your life that God says is wrong, then you will know that by your very own actions, you have been seperated from God.

God made a way for each of us to come back to him, but he will not force us to do that. If we end up in hell, being seperated from God for all eternity, it is because we have rejectd him when we had a chance to believe.
Have you ever regretted anything at all? Then image having the untimate regret.
You need to see the whole story of God, and not just what you think.
Too many say hell is a physical burning when there is no scriptural evidence for that.

I know how discouraging this can be and it is so heartbreaking to see what people are doing to our Saviour's Word. We must stand firm to the end even though it is so very hard. "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labour is not in vain." 1 Cor. 15:58
None of this is in vain, Linda. Jesus loves you and you are his faithful daughter. I will pray that he will bring you refreshment and comfort today.

When I read what you wrote, it did refresh me, and I appreciate that so much. The Lord knew I needed that.
The deception is everywhere, in every crevis of Christianity you can think of. I never thought that I would be defending the gospel from another believer like this. The two gospels theology now is taking a hold of many people, and when they believe this nonsense, they are aggressive to teach it to others.
I may have to put out a warning video on this new gospel.

Thank you so much for your kind words. They were much needed this morning. I spent all day yesterday with another Christian who called me a heretic because I didn't beleive in two gospels and that I was preaching a gospel of works. How sad it was for me to try to show this person that they have bought into this new theology that teaches Jesus's gospel is different then Paul's gospel, so therefore there are two gospels. This is gaining much popularity with Christians now and it''s sad.

The gospel that you and I were taught and shown from scripture is now a heresy among many here at youtube. I was told that I love the lie more then the truth and that I am deceived to believe that gospel.
It really discouraged me yesterday, not just because of that one thing, but because there are so, so many lies being taught now that it just boggles my mind.
One has to be very careful here because many Christians are believing gospels that are false.

Is it so difficult to see the Truth? Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the life, no man cometh to the Father but by me" He died to pay our sin debt. And if we accept this and then feel love for Him because He suffered and died so we could have this eternal life, we will hate to sin and if we do we will feel awful and want to ask forgiveness. We are sinners at our finest! 'Our rightousness is of filthy rags" pray for jesus to come into your heart and ask for your eyes to be opened.

actually that is almost corrct depending what concordance you look at. The Ye has been more excepted then the original Yah, meaning Yahushua. Some may spell it different but this is how to pronounce it. Now ask yourself if the concordance says that then how in the world did they get to je sus or le sous. The 3rd commandment states he will not hold us blameless for calling him a vain name. The truth has been hidden we have only had parts of it ,but now the most high is awaking people.

i was unaware of benny hinn preaching "little gods" the doctrine i believe is wrong but it is based on a scripture in psalm... i would say this teaching is in error , thats why i don't follow them. but no one has it 100% right. thats why we should study to show are ourselves approved. keep up the good work.. thank you for the responce.
ps anyone teaching another way to salvation besides Jesus is a false teacher. even if the claim to be a christian.

Yes, you are right, what many don't realize is that this scripture is not calling men gods but that the Judges of the Law were called little gods because of their authority and position of the Law.

I agree mostly but would be very careful of "touching the Lords anoited" Benny hinn and copeland may be out of balence, the health wealth doctrine is. God is our provision/ healer.. but Paul still says. i been content in all things... including hungry and shipwrecked....bad things do happen.
But the could repeat could still be men of God.

Aside from the prosperity gospel they teach, it;s the false prophecies that Benny Hinn has made, plus the fact that He and copeland and dollar and all from this movement teach others that all of us are little gods, and that Jesus is not the only one divine. these are out blasphemies, and God is not going to annoint any man or woman who teaches such things. Paul in his letters to the churches told them to throw out such people and have nothing to do with them.

No, "the" delusion most definitely is here -- as I've said before I wish not to argue, but to be obedient to conscience by objecting. So consider my objection that of one from the pre-Tribulation Rapture viewpoint that this event (& so many others people say are "signs") will happen *after* the Rapture. We haven't seen nothing yet...nor will we, we won't be here.

"The Delusion" the one where people will worship the beast is not here, you are right on that.
The apostasy that Paul speaks about, or the falling away from Truth as it is described in Greek, will happen before the antichrist....This falling away that is happening now, God is allowing a delusion to take over, as they do not wish to know the truth.

Also, some people at our church who are believers had gold dust appear on their hands after a person came back from a meeting with Joshua Mills. Does this mean that they are vulnerable now in some way?

Universalvation or universalist, are those who believe all are saved, whether they believe in Jesus or not. They teach that Jesus died for all men so all men are saved. this goes against what scriptures says, because Jesus spoke about hell and what happens to those who don't believe. So, that's the just of what universal salvation is.
Jesus said that there will be false teachers and prophets who will perform great miracles, signs and wonders. Thse are not scriptural either...continued....

Jesus said that you will do things even greater than these. Doesn't that mean that it would be usual for believers to do miracles?
I am concerned about some of what I am hearing, but why do I need to flee from that church?

When false prophets are doing miralces, which Jesus said they would do, we do not want to be under the teaching of men who perform such miracles. Yes, there will be miracilous signs, but we have do know where these miracles are coming from.
God will not change, nor will the type of miracles he will have his believers perform. cont

When the preachers puts more focus on miracles or experiences then anything else, this is but ONE sign to not go to that church.
Many are seeking signs rather then wanting to learn the word of God. Paul speaks about the time when men will seek after signs rather then the truth of God's word, and this is what we are seeing today. Many miralces are being sought, and usually what goes with these signs are teachings that go against scripture.

I am all for opposing false teaching no matter who does it. But you seemed to be lumping Rick in with those who preach no Gospel since they are not believers.
Seems obvious why I am asking re women preachers since scripture limits preaching of doctrine to men alone. I see no where in Acts where any woman preached, do you?

I think you must be careful re Rick Warrren as far as salvation is concerned. He believes in the Christ of the Bible. He that has the Son has life, he that does not have the Son does not have life. Please show his false teaching but do not doubt his salvation. A real false teacher always denys Christ Deity and bodily resurrection. Rick does not do that. The Mormons do so no comparison there.
Error in method is not the same as deniel of message. Now, what about women preachers? :)

While I can't determine where anyone goes, I can by scripture judge a mans teachings. this is what I do, and not say this one or that one will go to hell, but if a man waters down the gospel to the point that others are headed for hell, then how are we to think on this?

When Rick Warren first started out the worst you could say about his teachings as that the Gospel was watered down. That was bad enought, but as time went on, he started to promote and encourage those in the Emergent Church movement, and mystical christianity along with contemplative prayer. The list is very long, and all these things are teachings that don't line up with scripture. His purpose driven church is another thing that was pretty bad to.

I think you make a mistake in accusing Rick Warren of being a false teacher. He can hardly be called a Christ denier.
Christian teachers: not always error free yet saved. Also, the great delusion is not now but during the Tribulation after the Rapture. It will be a judgment corresponding to the rejection of abundant light given to that generation.
Also, I do not see anywhere the authorization of women preachers; do you? Sincerely wanting to know your take on this matter ...

The Mormons don't deny Christ either, but it's not denying Christ that makes him a false teacher. It's his teachings and endorsing of the Emergent Church Movement, contemplative prayer, mystical christianity. The brothers and sisters who are following these "preachers" are lazy and are not reading their bible, because clearly what they are teaching does not line up with the bible. I pray they wake up and their eyes are opened to the real Jesus. God Bless, great video.

With so many of these false teachings, it all centers around self, self and more self. either we are small gods or divine, or God wants us rich, or Jesus isn't the only way...There's way to many to mention, but what we see is a falling away from truth, apostasy in it;s purest form, and will only get worse till the AC arrives, then it will reach it's peak.

Yes, I have but didn't get to the end. I am looking around to get it again, so I can read the last chapter.
If I want to put aside how God is presented in this book, the issues there are is modelism, universal salvation. Modelism is a false doctrine to for starts, and universal salvation is totally against what the Bible teaches. But even to say that the Father is an African American woman goes against scripture because the Father is always referenced as a male.

Modelism is the belief that God put on the Fathers costume in the Old Testament, then he threw off those clothes and put on the Jesus outfit, and then when he assended, took of his Jesus suit and put on the Holy Spirit costume. This goes against what the Bible teaches us about God. for those who can't understand, they think they have to make somthing up, and this is soooo wrong. There are many who believe this doctrine. It is a doctrine that can lead people to hell.
