  • This song is smoldering, the slide filthy...understated yet threatening! Thanks for sharing this awesome recording! Love Chris' shirt!

  • Free Mumia!!!!!!! Go you Black Ass Crowes!!

  • man i loves me some good slide. the lead was nice. you guys sound amazing here.

  • Hey thanks jester

  • @nmarti11 ~ you don't believe that explanation do you?

  • what a f'n tune.

  • Just curious, what was their reason for getting rid of cease? I love Ford and Luther, just wanted to know.

  • @nmarti11 He was lazy and wasn't writing any of the leads, kept relying on Rich to write his guitar parts for him

  • Soooo.....Awesome to see this footage. Snakes was a departure from Amorica n Southern. But was their last studio album with Ford and sounded as if they were searchin a little more than the previous three. From Evil Eye to Bring On, it is still my favorite from the Crowes.

  • H as been one of top 4 or 5 favorites since the Albums release. Or CD. L.O.L. That's saying alot for me. I love MOST of their stuff. Like one of comments that I read below, guess it has alot to do with where you're at , at that particular time in your life. Thanks for the Post, very nice to hear.

  • what a solo WOW...

  • Going to see them September 25 at Stubbs in Austin. It will be my first Black Crowes show.

  • They lose mf twice cause mf didn't want his sobriety ruined but Marc put out the best three or four I should say albums with the crowes including band and all of the unreleased songs are gems too

  • I was still high on Amorica when this album came out and felt that it was a let down by comparison. Now I love it and can't stop listening to it. Maybe it's a little age and maturity or I finally stopped listening to Amorica long enough to appreciate this album. This has to be my favorite off Three snakes and one charm.

  • I think this one of there best songs - also off my favorite crowes album - i don;t know why so many people knock this album

  • luther needs to pick up a pick more often and let it rip..but he's not a bad player..MF is fukin MF..there is no one else...

tell that to Wiser Time...they've made it from a happy travel tune..to a somber march..

    Eddie wouldn't be too proud

  • Luther is not great. No need to try to be polite. Ford is great. Luther is not.

  • @windtested Audley was up there too right? I mean don't get me wrong...Losing MF once was a bad mistake, but twice is a travesty!

  • Personally this is one of my favorite crowes songs. I wish I could have seen them with marc ford. Luther's great, but I wish I could have seen this line up.

  • @skynyrdrocksss love Marc Ford of course but only a toolbox thinks Luthor is not great too. Crowes are making some of their best music since Luthor joined

  • This was my first Black Crowes Concert!

  • what a beautiful song this is...

and yet another brilliant Marc Ford solo....

  • @novaberbe How do you lose Marc Ford Twice? I agree with you, this is the ultimate MF solo!

  • @ih8tbush Marc left twice - on his own . I think he was givin' a choice the first time and couldn't handle the temptations during touring the second. I think the crowes handled his departure one week before a tour with grace. You didn't hear any badmouthing other than he broke his contract out of there camp.
