The only way the DKR will be better than the DK is if Tom hardy puts in the same performance quality of his character as Heath did, and i actually think he COULD pull it off :)
@Morphjin47 Aye he was and he's one of my favorite up and coming actors im just saying could he create a villain as good as or even better than the joker? :) thats the only way i think this movie is going to be great.... unless Christian Bale pulls a rabbit out his arse xD haha
How ironic that Batman wouldn't have grossed Nearly as much as it did had Heath not died... & in the same way, he probably wouldn't have got that award. It was like Ledger dying was the best thing that happened to Batman. He did play a great part though, no question.
Wanna know something bad.....if he hadnt died, i doubt they would have given him the award, you know how they awards people hate to give out anything to anything thats not " A TOUR DE'FORCE".
@adyandrey1 He was a great actor. The last ten minutes of brokeback mountain was truly brilliant acting. His character wasn't one to show emotion. But when he smelled that shirt I am not afraid to say that I got choked up. The subtlety of that scene is what made it brilliant. Knowing the power smells connection to memory is what made it heart breaking. That was the scene Daniel Day Lewis made a reference too. Not everyone can pull off that kind of subtlety and emotion...

@rivergirlautner Sorry but I have to disagree. What I said had reason. I DO think he is just trying to play devils advocate for no reason other than trying to be objective but failing miserably. I'm amazed at how easy people are going on someone the world would be lighter without. That's right. I don't think people realize how much fevered egos like his are tainting the collective in ways we can not understand... This transcends a simple disagreement. But I'll leave Harry out of it next time ;)
@thedeepakgrover wow, well, your opinion against the world, mate.
I think most people would argue that Heath Ledger definitely had charisma, and played the disturbed, creepy villain perfectly. And his prescription drugs had nothing to do with it. So Ledger won an Oscar for nothing, did he?
I am not really sure why he won. I think Nicolas Cage is more likable and talented than this no talent ass clown. I think the word "perfect" is poor word choice to describe his performance. I would argue with something a bit different. Perhaps "generic" might be more accurate.
NICHOLAS CAGE!? Okay Ghost Rider :) HA! Do us ALL a favor: grab a plastic bag. Okay, you got that much down buddy? Alright, now put the bag over your head and breathe as deeply as you can. Eventually you will collapse and the world will be a better place. "I should see a doctor"? OOH BURN! I don't know if I will recover from a vocabulary and wit like yours...
I still remember watching The Dark Knight at the midnight showing and going "Wow!" when I saw Heath's performance. I couldn't believe he was dead. It felt strange but sad at the same time to be watching the movie knowing he had died. Christian Bale is the best looking actor in that crowd.
@DenverYellowStone Believe it or not Christian Bale's performance in the Dark Knight wasn't that great compared to the same role.in Batman Begins or came anywhere close to being as.good as Ledger's
i dont WANT heath to rest in peace. i want him to LIVE in peace! why did he have to die!?!? he was such a great actor!! i miss him so much, i wish i could go back in time and save him :(
@SUPPORTOUTBREAK3 Because you have no idea how many ignorant retards attribute heaths success to his death just to try and bash TDK. That pisses me off because firstly, it doeznt make sense, secondly, they dont even know who else was nomiated and lastly those dipshits diss ledger's hard work by accusing his win of being a pity award. The man gave us the greatest comicbook villian ever. He deserves respect.
Heath defiantly deserved the award but I wonder if he would have won if he was alive. That's something I wonder, cause the Academy has screwed many people over.
@SUPPORTOUTBREAK3 You along with the rest of the dipshits that wonder that are stupid. Would heath have one if he was alive? FUCK YEAH! WHY THE HELL NOT?
The award was given for the best support actor for 2008. Who gave a better performance than Heath in that category? Using your brain is a good thing....
@4085jones he was taking pills to help him sleep, as well as pills to help him stay up (caffeine like).. you're not supposed to mix them together. Worse thing about pills is that your body becomes adapt to them, making you take more in order for them to take effect. All of these is not including alcohol and other dodgy substances.. those thing certainly doesn't help.
i wish Heath could have seen what a masterpiece he created and i wish he could be here for his daughter, but heaven needs good actors.you are missed R.I.P heath.
Christian Bale's performance was only seemingly mediocre because we've already seen him play the role in the first movie plus a whole variety of Batman actors in the past...the role is not very overwhelming...Heath played a pretty awesome character but was he a good Joker? Not really...he was a unique Joker for sure. He was a great villian for sure. Did he over-shadow Bale, sure...because the part and character were written and directed that way. "Supporting actor"...yep.
Bale WAS NOT mediocre. He was excellent. Honestly his stature at being put to his limit by the Joker WAS MUCH more appealing to me. The thing is, these characters do not have as much potential as the Joker. Bale played the best Batman he could but theres no room for potential there
@yamisupersaiyan I fully agree. I wasn't saying that I believe he was mediocre...I love pretty much every performance he's ever given (Shaft and Harsh Times aside) and actually believe Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Cate Blanchett, and maybe Daniel Day Lewis and possible Johnny Depp are the best actors on the planet because they actually ACT; different human beings in every role, unlike other actors that are always just playing themselves, Jack Nicholson, Robert Deniro, etc...
YES thank you. Bale, along with Eckhart and Oldman are so underrated in TDK. The character of Joker is spontaneous so of course the actor playing him has a lot of freedom with it. With Batman/Wayne, Dent, and Gordon? No these character have strict natures which I think these actors portrayed flawlessly. Honestly a lot of people who bash everyone but Ledger in TDK are morons in my opinion. They ALL were essential to making the film work
@yamisupersaiyan For sure. Agreed. Not enough people understand what they're watching; they have opinions regardless. People are missing the point of what a good supporting actor or even a character actor is for...they are designed to add depth to the main character.
I wish Heath was alive then he could have appeared in The Dark Knight Rises. He would have been great with Bane. When I first heard he was going to be The Joker I though no way, he'll never be as good as Jack Nicholson. But damn he was BRILIANT!
@Kalsingh i didn't even remember jack Nicholson xD heath ledger immediately just pushed him right out of my mind as classic joker. :) thats how awesome he is :)
@Kalsingh i know its kinda like the ''right'' thing to do to always go with the golden oldies, and honestly jack nicholson is prob my all time favorite actor, but heath was a much better joker IMO, and its not cos hes dead and that, he just suited it perfectly
@Kalsingh There was a loooong stretch of time before TDKR was even announced, and after that another stretch before the villain was even announced. From this we can conjecture that Bane was decided in a decided absence of the Joker, therefor if Heath was still alive there would have been a massive chance that it would be an entirely different villain altogether.
@Kalsingh Dude its crazy cause i think everyone said NO WAY!! Thats why when u were sitting in the theater watching him u were like, This is the greatest thing ive ever scene.
@NeRo7599 i know the dark knight rises will rule over dark knight cuz it's going to be more epic and all that. You're right we are going to miss Heath Ledger but i will miss Christian Bale and Chris Nolan the most 8 years they have been the part of our lives and now it's over. amazing 8 years
@NeRo7599 It seems that we will continue to monitor the work of Nolan and Bale and i don't think so that Nolan will make Prestige 2 i heard maybe Inception 2 but who knows for me is the most important thing now when it's all over that we must get new Batman movies and JLA movie as soon as possible With God's help with Bale n Nolan.
Can we PLEASE leave religion out of the comments? Seriously it seems like any video I watch on youtube somewhere, somehow, there is ALWAYS a religious argument going on down in the comments. Please shut up, keep your opinions to yourselves and stop trying to shove your beliefs down someone else's throat. Love your God the way you want to, but keep it to yourself please. Let's try to have some respect for people.
@RedHot10592 God didn't say to keep it to yourself. and if you believe the Bible, what God says goes. so your argument is invalid. and i hope that i've alerted you to the reason as to why religious arguments pop up everywhere.
@MrIHunter1 you are looking at the wrong side of the coin. i would say that in general, those of us that believe the Bible are the ones that start the arguments.
@blklightning330 I don't agree with the Bible, and I've found that your statement is true. One question though, why the fuck are we talking about religion for THIS video?
The only way the DKR will be better than the DK is if Tom hardy puts in the same performance quality of his character as Heath did, and i actually think he COULD pull it off :)

@Kalsingh i know its kinda like the ''right'' thing to do to always go with the golden oldies, and honestly jack nicholson is prob my all time favorite actor, but heath was a much better joker IMO, and its not cos hes dead and that, he just suited it perfectly
GuidesOfGuildWars 1 month ago
@Kalsingh that would be cool, but the joker and bane don't like eachother. honestly not trying to sound like a knowitall, just saying. haha sorry
6sam6crow6 1 month ago
@6sam6crow6 Well, either way would have been nice to have seen him carry on his insane ways in this film too.

@Kalsingh sorry but if Bane and Ledger were in the same movie, the movie would be too epic, wed be suffering some trauma
StuntStadium 1 month ago
@Kalsingh Well, you have to understand that if Heath was alive, Bane might not have been apart of the final film....

NeRo7599 1 month ago
@NeRo7599 i know the dark knight rises will rule over dark knight cuz it's going to be more epic and all that. You're right we are going to miss Heath Ledger but i will miss Christian Bale and Chris Nolan the most 8 years they have been the part of our lives and now it's over. amazing 8 years

@BatmanFANization hmm,me too,i wil be eagerly waiting if another part of THE PRESTIGE releases
NeRo7599 1 month ago
@NeRo7599 It seems that we will continue to monitor the work of Nolan and Bale and i don't think so that Nolan will make Prestige 2 i heard maybe Inception 2 but who knows for me is the most important thing now when it's all over that we must get new Batman movies and JLA movie as soon as possible With God's help with Bale n Nolan.
BatmanFANization 1 month ago
we should give a credit to Christian Bale because he is the best Bruce Wayne and Batman

RedHot10592 1 month ago
@RedHot10592 God didn't say to keep it to yourself. and if you believe the Bible, what God says goes. so your argument is invalid. and i hope that i've alerted you to the reason as to why religious arguments pop up everywhere.

@blklightning330 Bible? I think you mean the Quran.

@blklightning330 What happens when you DON'T take anything the Bible says literally?
MrIHunter1 1 month ago
@MrIHunter1 you are looking at the wrong side of the coin. i would say that in general, those of us that believe the Bible are the ones that start the arguments.
blklightning330 1 month ago
@blklightning330 I don't agree with the Bible, and I've found that your statement is true. One question though, why the fuck are we talking about religion for THIS video?
MrIHunter1 1 month ago
@blklightning330 Well then in if you're going to take that view I don't believe in the Bible. So I guess that means your argument is invalid.
