I get called all the names in the books by the fauxtographers for this. I have already reposted your video in a few places and its stirring up some controversy. So thank you!!!! @photoguy8869 Glad you enjoyed it photoguy. Sales tax laws differ widely across the US (5 states have NO sales tax), but here in FL the Dept of Rev conducst periodic audits in our industry. Trouble is they tend to only go after those of us doing it above board - those under the table are under their radar but they will gladly pay a commission to you if you turn in someone they ultimately collect from (not advocating - just sayin').
@photog33 Kevin... Well I for sure wish that in California they would actually pay commission to turn people in for operating their business illegally. But they dont. I can call out in just the city I live in at least 10 fauxtographers right now who have screwed over myself as well as 2 other pro colleages who I actually respect. I have spent all day taking breaks in between my post production to watch your videos. They are great!!!
I dont know you, but I like you! Im from Louisiana and we're plagued with the same problem.
