this makes me feel like i want t cry... that dad inspires me on what he had done for his son... it makes me want a dad like him..... i hope this inspires everybody... that even though u have heart conditions or anything else.. that someone u love the most makes u have strength to go on ....
I thought it's the son who carried the father? I read over and over again :/
anyway, I think that this is just wonderful because the father managed to join his son despite his condition.. and the son, he was able to finish the race carrying his father. Just the simple fact that "for my dad/son, I will not see this as a burden"
I really do feel for non Christians, and totally understand, if I weren't brought up by a christian family I guess I might not know Jesus yet, I've converted friends and hope to do the same to the world...When Jesus does come on judgment day or someones on their deathbed all non Christians, I grantee will be praying and begging for forgiveness( not to go to hell).
God has everything to do with this. He created us perfect, which includes free will. We chose to introduce imperfection into this world. Thus, less than perfect situations arise. God's fault? No. Human's fault? Yes.
that has nothing to do with god.. If god existed, he shouldn't get any credit for this, because it's him who has crypled the son. it's the father who's amazing and nobody else !! :)
This is a reminder of how God does the same for us! Sometimes he pulls us...sometimes he carries us...and sometimes he pushes us. Why? Because he wants to see us cross the Finish Line. The love a father has for a son is unconditional...The love our God has for us is unconditional and unmeasurable!
@pressolgot Might want to learn your religion before you follow it : Lev Lev.21:17-23
No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God. ... Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries.
Think about the pain that wonderful father went through just to finish the race for his son.
You see parents abandoning their children and then you see inspiring stories like this and it really goes to show you that there is good and bad in this world.

God certainly did not create this man crippled, God does not create anything that is bad.
God gave this man a life, and the man is happy to be alive :).
