"Real men don't use Rush... that much." Hell yeah! "Okay, real men use Rush sometimes." Uhh... yeah, what he said. I like to add a little twist to Toadman, I let him do a last request dance before I kill him. X3
I know these robot masters have weaknesses, but for some reason with this being the first Megaman game with charge shots, I never felt a need to use weapons. The exception to this are the breakable walls and Dr. Wily (though I think with his WM#4, you're kinda forced to use it.)
Uhh.... If I spelt that right, your WRONG. I'd fail so freakin' hard at that. I tried... I think Megaman 2 on an Emu, on Metalman or whatever game (I'm horrible with matching bosses with games), I used about 2 continues before I even got to the boss. Proves I fail harder.
Hell yes! My NES, SNES, and GB Let's Play My Ways each have an intro using a different Star Ocean 3 track. If I get into Genesis games and other consoles eventually, I'll expand into the SO2 soundtrack, considering in the time since starting my LPMW series, I finally got to play SO2 and was hooked, heh.
Hey, that's more original Mega Man games than I've been able to beat (which is none of them). When you grow up playing the X and Zero series, it's hard to get used to the originals.
"Dash, dang you! Wait, the dash requires you to hit TWO buttons? And there's no wall kick? And the first three games have no charge shot? WHAT IS THIS!?!?"
The no-charge deal in MM1~3 actually threw me as well, given I hadn't seen them in like, a decade or so by the time I got into emulation. @_@ Ain't it great? *cries*
I think it's because it sounds as though he IS made of Rock as apposed to the creator's love of music. (Rock Music[This explains Roll, Bass, Tremble])
And you even died the same way I did on Bright Man's stage, the little glich where you land on the edge of the falling platform and run in place to your doom! Bohepans, did you record me playing the game and put your commentary over it?
Yes sir. I sure did. So let me ask you one question: HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU LOSE A 500 POUND FISH? ...Oh. Wait. I mean. Why? Why did Dr. Cossack make an auto-scroll level? Why...? T_T
I find it interesting you're playing MM4, because I was just playing it yesterday myself. You also played through Toad Man's stage the same way I did when I played (without using Rush for the jumps in the wind and rain, but using him on the platforms over the spikes and fish).
Mega Man 4 is my of my favourites as well. I even prefer it over Mega Man 2, even if it does have the most pathetic Robot Master ever in the form of Toad Man. Pharaoh Man more than makes up for that useless reptile.

So wait, out of curiosity, which 4 of the regular 9 Megamans (+ MM&B) have you beaten?
AND4H 2 years ago
1, 2 I think, 7, and 8. 8 was tough though, as I recall. And I was only able to rent it, back then.
BohepansTheThird 2 years ago
I see. You haven't beaten MY favorite then! Good ol' 3. With the most useless/useful weapon in Mega Man history... Stupid Top Spin! XD

Somehow I knew this would be coming. I KNEW that you would be doing MegaMan 4. Probably because I've inspired you to do so?

His name was rock, so that's why he was called Rockman.
GoMarioGoMario 2 years ago
I know that - what I don't know is why America saw him renamed as Mega Man. What was wrong with Rock Man? I'll never understand that...

They felt as if americans wouldn't be able to realise the rock, roll ,and blues pun.

Which makes me a sad panda. Not -all- Americans are too stupid/dense to catch these things. ^_^;

I agree, looking back it seems better as Rock Man.
