  • Each person here has their own path. Even as you do not follow or worship God he still loves you. Just as you have your right to express your thoughts and opinions here, so does everyone else. I am here to help and love all despite their thoughts and views. I do not hate you because you may not see my way. Consider the hate that can be felt from your words and your inability to accept others despite their beliefs. All things are not as they seem. Always in my heart!!!

  • If Marc gets to play with Queen, he will have success beyond his wildest dreams but also a lot of temptation. It's a gift God has given him but also a real test of his faith.

  • Its really pathetic to see people using their talents to spread delusion and hatred like this, and a particular insult to freddy mercury, who was gay. Christianity is dumb. Its ignorance and lies that stem from a hateful and repulsive dogma taught in the bible by backward misogynist politically motivated people. You can see the evil that christianity has caused in the world by taking a look at history. The inquisition, the crusades, slavery, racism all have roots in the bible.

  • @mrrealtime While organized religion has undoubtedly been responsible for some of the greatest atrocities the world has seen, it's not ultimately the book itself that's to blame, but rather the people who have misinterpreted it, twisted it, and manipulated it to serve their nefarious and destructive desires.

  • @redearth74 Have you actually read it? It encourages slavery, is obsessed with "worshipping god" while outlining very clearly that homosexuals are to be stoned to death in at least three distinct places. It is severely racist constantly choosing the jews over every other race on earth - even committing genocide as revenge on behalf of the jews (including killing innocent children), there is child abuse (he who spares the rod hates his son for example, or what they do with disobedient children)

  • @mrrealtime I have read it. Slavery? Read what God says about slavery. Homos were not the only ones to get stoned. Nice try. Genocide? Sure. As it pertains to sin. How corrupting sin can be and how easily it creeps into our lives. Again, have you ever read it with the desire to know God or were you questioning Him as if you know better? Dont spew your hate and obvious factually mistaken comments.

  • @gkasa4 "homos were not the only ones to get stoned. nice try" huh? So yes, the bible condones throwing rocks at human beings for being gay, or being a disobedient son, or a disobedient slave, or many other things. That, to me, alone makes the bible a repulsive book. "as it pertains to sin" - Genocide...really? An entire city, men, women, children, babies. BABIES. The bible is repulsive. I dont hate christians, i hate their book, the bible. I hate a book. I am "spewing hate" at a book.

  • @mrrealtime There are Christians who choose to be Christians, and yet still believe the Bible is a flawed document, written in a certain part of the world at a certain time with a certain political agenda. At the time there was no system of politics, no medical system, no legal system. The earliest writings in Israel were simply the guide book on how to live in the country. There are certainly horrible acts in the Bible that were justified - God had "sanctioned" the behaviour. It was wrong.

  • @redearth74 no only that, but it teaches that all who dont believe exactly in a certain way (jesus christ is god, which you ultimately have to accept as 100% truth entirely on faith since there is absolutely no evidence to support it) you will go to hell for eternity and burn forever. How could anyone but a complete psychopath see that as "love" or "justice" ? it makes no sense, and makes the bible more than repulsive.

  • @mrrealtime Wow! Read your posts and you are so far off base you can tell you have never read the Bible with the desire to get to know the Lord. Everything you mentioned in your posts is twisted to suit your needs. Complete psychopath? How is that? Jesus/God, died for mine and everyone else's sins. If that is not worht aknowledging and loving I dont know what to tell you.

  • Marc, I think this is awesome. I'm a Christian who has worked in the secular music industry for thirty years. I believe you will win the role of Freddie in this Queen Extravaganza thing for your sheer talent and uncanny vocal (and even visual likeness) but the fact that you are a hardcore Christian is just the ultimate irony, isn't it? Freddie represented many things that are antithetical to our beliefs and you're going to get asked about that when you win. Be ready my Brother! Stand strong!

  • Marc, even though you were raised in a Christian home (and are dependent of God - not that you have to be since your hard work proved worthy), aren't you going to get crucified for auditioning the Freddie Mercury part? Isn't he the antithesis of what you believe in? It's all a little contradictory... but on the bonus side, you don't really practice what you preach. Singers/Bands should keep their faith to themselves since they're exposed to so much. Stay grounded. Nuff said.

  • I give you a lot of credit, everyone thinks guys in bands have to be anti religion, you guys have guts and talent and aren't concerned or pressured by the sterotype. I can relate to what you're saying, it's so true, you fall but come back because you realize. God bless you guys.

  • LOL audas and volturee, don't worry too much. You can be a perfectly intelligent individual and a brilliant artist and still be horrible at explaining yourself in public. I can testify ;)

  • wow - was really liking your music for a while - then I discovered this shit.

    WHY?!!!

  • @audas Yes, this basically. Goddamnit guys. Having such an amazing singer and then this..

  • @Volturee I agree with both of you. What a shame...but maybe this condition is not chronic and he'll snap out of it. lol One can hope.

    .

  • @audas well youre a judgemental douchbag ain't ya?

  • Just went to see them in concert at the Vernon performing arts center and it was AWSOME! So motivating to continue pursing my own music.

This bands humility and challenging lyrics were really incredible to listen to.
