June 5th 2009 Amazing Shelf Cloud / Severe Storm

I remember this day all to well ... I was at the sugar mill when this happened.. and wow was it windy

WOW! We were traveling on Interstate 15, between Idaho Falls and Woodville, ID. When we saw the shelf cloud. There was a large highway dept. sand pile that was being scattered by the wind, the dark plume from the sand pile was about a hundred feet high in the air and the wind was blowing the dark brown sand plume for over a mile downwind. The clouds were moving near the same speed as the North bound traffic!
