basically sampling is taking parts from other songs, this might be just be taking a 2 bar sample then looping it or take sections from different parts of songs and then chop it up to suit how you want it to sound, Then after you sample the melody or anything, you can build a drum beat around it and add different instruments... like pmc did. People say sampling is stealing but you have to to get it cleared to use it, so you pay the original owners, so it isnt really stealing.
