but, about you comment... how bad is that of the 'garage band'?

Too say it a sort of nice way, bad, horrible,really there is just too much noice form the drums. And I might suggest trying the new version of anyone seen the bridge, no scat but really fun to play with a band. Look for Piedmont Park here on youtube. Honestly though, tune down the drums and work on the vocals and you'll be fine.
