It deff depends on how curly your hair is and if you are willing to straighten it everyday. You have to have a really good straightener to straighten really curly hair especially if your hair is really course. I wouldn't permanently straighten it. It really damages your hair! Its really only made for African American Hair because they have tougher hair.

you can get it permanently straightened, but the chemicals can burn your skin really easily, so it's just easier to buy a straightener and get your hair cut, and straighten it every morning. That's what I do. Once you get good at straightening it takes about 15 minutes in the morning compared to 30 or 40. good luck and go crazy. :)
