  • ...and, dont forget DJANGO!!!

  • @emilyoshiro never

  • who needs drugs , dude we have this !!

  • Songs without words are so refreshing...

  • Huge kudos for upping this. WOW! WOW! WOW! I am speechless.

  • WOW!

  • AVÉ JIMMY PAGE!

  • God save Jimmy Page! or maybe only Crowley can save him xD

  • I keep a guitar in modal tuning at all times just so I can randomly start playing this song.

  • cut this song at exactly 4:01 and shoot it straight into the kashmir riff...initiate hair raising sequence...

  • I recently PERFECTED this song on guitar. I'm fifteen. I started learning it when i was about 13. Homework grades sacrificed. Worth it? Every second of it. BTW, to all you assholes out there, NO IM NOT BRAGGING. I am simply proving a point on how difficult this song is

  • @AceKennyA cool story bro

  • @Jimmyrey6857 You should tell it at parties

  • @AceKennyA: That's fantastic. Have you checked out the original Bert Jansch and Davey Graham versions ("She moved through the Fair" and "Blackwaterside") upon which Page based his this song? You would be well served to spend the next two years learning "Angie" by Davey Graham and anything by Bert Jansch when he was with Pentangle. And, if you haven't already, check out Merle Travis, James Burton, Link Wray, Hubert Sumlin and Earl Scruggs as well. These were all huge influences on Mr. Page.

  • @AceKennyA lol took me about 6 months, gratz

  • Page's imperfections are what makes his style so unique! Amazing tune!

  • Madre de dios -- the legends are true! I'd read about this but hadn't heard it 'til now. Thank you!!!

  • Wow.

  • it took me 3 days to figure out this whole song n when i finaaly did i messed up torwards the middle!!!FUCK MY ASSHOLE!!!

  • What time is this in?

    That was a joke.

  • @diln5 it has just about as many as the band ever used...

  • this song shows what a big genius jimmy page is , i think in this 10 years with Led Zeppelin ( greatest band walked on earth), he gives really every music he got inside , and Goddamm , HE had so much !!!! , i LOVE white summer/black mountain side

and since one week i swear to myself i play nothing else on my acoustic guitar till i got this BITCH of a PHANTASTIC composition , its BRILLIANT , its so absolute virtuoso !! thanx jimmy and led zep !!!

  • @ThrashRoC im about as crazy as you are about jimmy and zeppelin, but this song is essentially a cover of two songs "she moved thru the bizzare" by davey graham and black waterside by bert jansch. check em out! they were big influences in jimmys acoustic style. after all, if jimmy likes em, you can be pretty certain that youll like them too. =D

  • @killingj0ke23 Didn´t know those two musicians! I´ll check them out, thanks!

  • @killingj0ke23 Well not quite... Both tunes were TRANSCRIBED from TRADITIONAL FOLK SONGS

"She Moved through the FAIR" - Davy Graham (not Davey ;-)

    &

Bert Jansch, who spent 2 years playing one-night stands in British folk clubs -a musical apprenticeship that exposed him to a range of influences, especially Anne Briggs, from whom he learned some of "his" songs (such as "Blackwaterside" and "Reynardine")

(been a fan of both for 40 yrs... info from record sleeves ;-)

  • @killingj0ke23 "She Moved Through the Fair" (or "She Moves Through the Fair") is a traditional Irish folk song, existing in a number of versions and which has been recorded many times.

(my favorite version would be Sandy Denny's with Fairport Convention)

The song was first collected in Donegal by poet Padraic Colum and musicologist Herbert Hughes, and published by Boosey & Hawkes in London in a work entitled Irish Country Songs in 1909.

  • This reminds me of being a kid.

  • haha wow people talking shit to each other on a zeppelin video i don't think that's right.......your losing your war in mind X)

  • @jjhambone420 I see what you did there lol

  • this is crazy!!!!

  • yes britney spears and justin suck my dick biber can only dream of being the shit on Page´s shoe........

  • @jaa93997 jp has no shit on his shoes hes so good the shit respects him

  • Oh Led Zeppelin. Only the greatest band to ever walk the earth.

  • Great tribute to Davey Graham

  • this is the kind of music people need to listen to, this is REAL music.

  • One day and I can play the whole song already! Love Zeppelin!

  • @FriedChickenofDeath6 in youre dreams maybe i even bet jimi hendrix (R.I.P 2nd greatest guitarist ever) couldnt even learn this in one day

  • @guitargod91000 Maybe I can post a video. Or maybe you can just shut up, 'cause you don't know even know me :)

  • @FriedChickenofDeath6 yeah you go post a video RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i know your mom

  • @guitargod91000 Haha! That's childish, dude.

  • @FriedChickenofDeath6 i am childish i can believe you in one full day 24hr no breaks complete but no breaks no practising and 12 hrs is going a bit far

  • @guitargod91000 No man, it's kinda easy. The song follows the same pattern through almost eight minutes. Once you get this pattern, you just need to remember the variations. You can try it and you can get it in one day too. Just practice until you fingers bleed and you nails come off :D

  • @DerZweihander Some people write tunings from highest string to lowest. such as "EBGDAE"

  • @DerZweihander I think we got the point buddy....

  • everythingisaremix.info/watch-the-series/

Watch part 1....all about Led Zeppelin.

  • So...im a guitar player right? and throught the whole intro im like "pshh i got this"...until my jaw dropped at 1:13.

    FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

  • @Bsullytriplesix Same here, man. Since I couldn't play it, i was inspired to write a song of my own in DADGAD.

  • @Bsullytriplesix Same thing happened to me, haha. I got the intro down, almost perfect, then it speeds up and it's like I'm trying to learn twinkle twinkle for the first time.

  • @Bsullytriplesix practice my friend. practice

  • @Bsullytriplesix I cant give you another thumbs up.... I wish I could.

  • @Bsullytriplesix That first part you were playing right there was a variation on the tune of "Over the Hills And Far Away," a Led Zeppelin great, if that helps.

  • @Bsullytriplesix explain me please!! how do you put in blue 1. 13 ? =S

  • @ArtKbal1KING 1:13 automatic when you put the colon :

  • @beboplavalan the colon?? i learned to do this ( 1:13 ) one month ago

  • @ArtKbal1KING lol sorry didn't realize how long ago that was

  • @beboplavalan jhajhajhajahahahahahahahaha no problem

  • @Bsullytriplesix dont quit your day job

  • @Bsullytriplesix Tune your guitar in D modal open tuning and pick with your fingers pal.

  • @Bsullytriplesix

What were you expecting? It's fucking Jimmy Page!

  • DAGDAD tuning

  • @TheKohjix I agree, but I don't even bother with that top 40 shit, I just listen to the music I like and if people don't like it, they can go watch 12 And Pregnant on MTV for all I care, there still are people that still listen to good stuff like this. Don't even fret about that shit, people will be saying Justin Who? in a couple of years and some other no talent asshole will take his place

  • @MegaAries1992 agreed man, fucking agreed. damn twilight fans with there stupid pre teen music.... fuck society and culture now-a-days.

  • @MegaAries1992 You're right, he doesn't have talent, Just about every pop song has the same thing going. Frankly, there's few out there that I can say I like. Some kids out there are coming out with good taste though. Like that blues guitarist kid, and that Greyson dude. Either way, not much is going to come out for the classics in the future.

  • @MegaAries1992 that kids a fruit with no talent ;P
