  • Yeah what ever happened to this truck and what was you thinking when you purchased it.

  • @wazzerus i got it for free its down in the woods near my uncles house i don't have enough time to fix it right now

  • any updates on this truck?

  • it needs a starter... and i don't have money i might see if theres any one with the same time of starting that would let me barrow it so i can see if the engine even turns

  • go to a junk/salvage yard and u would probalby be able to buy one that works for like $10

  • roflmao...what if some1 died in there?! find a finger n shit...pretty funny...OHHH when u get it all fixed up... make it a a a hearse theme shit or somethin like that. that would be iight

  • Can you make a video of the engine compartment?

  • What are you gonna do with it?

  • i would love to keep it and use it and run it off of cooking oil

  • how does a diesel engine run with out a carburetor does it just pump diesel into the engine are there jets? please give me info on this lol

  • high pressure injection pump squirts fuel through injectors. 1 injector per cylinder. its high pressure stuff. and because diesels have such high compression the fuel just explodes when it gets in the chamber. no carbruetors. just injection pump and injectors.

  • got any tips for cleaning out the diesel tanks? they got old old diesel in them

  • What diesel is in it?? junk ancient 5.7? 6.2 diesel?

  • will those numbers be stamped on the block? like on my other truck. sorry about knowing nothing about diesels it was a ambulance i would think ambulance would have a good engine

  • Well for one thing, its not a 1977 because the front marker lights on the fenders go sideways so its a 81-87. if it was a 1977 then the marker light on the fender would be going up and down...and when i say 5.7 and 6.2 i mean litre of engine. like size.... well look in the glove compartment for the option sheet and it should show the engine size and all the drivetrain equipment. if its not in the glove box then its on the inner fender whell on the driver side. i bet its a 6.2l diesel. there junk

  • i think the old lady said the bed might be a 1977... and at one time it was a ambulance its a odd truck.. but its pretty cool how it looks. why are the 6.2i junk engines.. its a v8 thats all i know for now. its hard for me to find some one to trailer it and get it to my uncles land most say its to long... i think thats bull i have seen 30 feet trailers its only 22 feet long. i hope i don't have to drag it. last time i did that the cops showed up....

  • 6.2s arent junk, just notorious for being slow unless it has a turbo.

  • as for running it on cooking oil id check which type and brand of injector pump it has, as certain type cannot handle anything other than pure diesel and will break after a short while with veg oil. Id run some diesel injector cleaner through the system (alot it it) before you try to run it proper and get a new fuel filter too...

  • k i got to get it running first lol

  • open the hood, right near the hood latch there should be a white sticker like near the fan shroud. that white sticker will tell you what engine in the top left of the sticker thing....and if the engine has a spark distributor then its obviously a gas but if you pull of the air cleaner and you see a black hole then its a diesel. lol..hope this helps
