  • @lebronfan705 Of course. Its called Overtraining, this is when you exercise your muscles too much. And if you become a Pro-IFBB, you can have heart problems

  • @lebronfan705 Ill add on to what BigSam said. You can overtrain your muscles, for example working triceps 4 times a week. But for example working triceps once a week for your whole life would not be overtraining.

    lol not really. they build muscle underneath them but if you lose the fat then do this then youll have man boobs. but the good kind :D

  • When i do this and other chest workouts (like push ups and inclined push ups), i feel like its working out my shoulders much more then my chest, do you think its because of my form?

  • depends im only 15 but my grandfather and my 2 uncles all benched over 400 lbs raw and my grandfather benched 500 raw, anyway it depends on your grip first of all the wider your grip the more stress you put on the shoulder joint and maybe your form to and i just learned from reading an article from elite fitness that the closer your grip is the more chest you use (easier to fire off your chest but harder to lock out) and viseversia for wide grip

    Yes, when you train chest, be sure that you feel your chest muscles is working, not your shoulders.

  • yea you see a lot of that on here with the weights they use that are maybe look-a-likes for dropping know what I mean. You can tell the steel bar will bend on anything over 315lbs.

  • @ageofempires steroids dont neccesarily make you stronger it makes you get bigger, even tho you do get strenght gains, doesnt mean you'd get as powerful as an olympic or powerlifter. And perhaps he's a powerlifter???

  • Yes I do agree too. There are so many people still left at 315 for years. Sure !! I truelly believe that this kind of weight requires everything. Beliveing in your own strength, that one and having a proper training routine for years and of course supplaments and biochemistry.

  • Nippon, so true. But he is drug-free which makes this feat even more incredible. There are guys at my gym who moves 315 on inclines but they do it with quite bit of bounce on their chest whereas he moves 405 with excellent form. He has iron shoulder, chest, and arms.

  • Yes, shoulders are primerely involved in the incline. I only do 314lbs for 3 reps, but then again I only incline bench press for a year. I guess the 405 took him much longer than that to do it !! I hope I'll improve even more. Fingers crossed !!
