Godspeed to all those who turned a great wheel and especially to Purley and his brother-in-arms Roger Williamson whom he refused to leave wanting in his hour of need. Roger succumbed not to the flames but asphyxiation despite David's valiant efforts. Purley truly met the measure of a man because he tried while others did nothing and that is a hero...
