AGainst Lesnar, Carwin looked like he had gained some weight and didn't look as ripped like he normally is. I think he was afraid of Lesnar's size. For Carwin, the best weight for him to fight at is around 250 to 255. That way his cardio will be better with combined power. I don't think Carwin can beat Cain. Cain has the best cardio from all HWs in the sport. Plus Cain's a lot ounger and age is a factor.

You're right about the weight, Carwin should have kept the weight off and kept his hand speed as Cain did against Brock. In a Velasquez vs. Carwin match, it'll never get out of the first round. A TKO is where the ref pulls the guy off the other one but the loser is still conscious and can react while a KO is whether he is unconscious or conscious and not aware.

Although Carwin didn't win the fight, he still weakened Brock's chin. In Brock's next fight, he couldn't take any shots from Cain. Cain succeeded where Carwin failed.

AGainst Lesnar, Carwin looked like he had gained some weight and didn't look as ripped like he normally is. I think he was afraid of Lesnar's size. For Carwin, the best weight for him to fight at is around 250 to 255. That way his cardio will be better with combined power. I don't think Carwin can beat Cain. Cain has the best cardio from all HWs in the sport. Plus Cain's a lot ounger and age is a factor.

You're right about the weight, Carwin should have kept the weight off and kept his hand speed as Cain did against Brock. In a Velasquez vs. Carwin match, it'll never get out of the first round. Carwin has a lot of power, but he's gotta imprive his cardio. He shuldn't have to cut weight to make 265. Although, I think if he fights at 250,lbs, his cardio will be vastly improved. That way he'll have a comination of good wrestling, KO power, and the abilit to go more rounds. If Carwin ever fights Brock again, I think Carwin will KO Brock. It doesn't take much to drop Brock from strikes.

Although Carwin didn't win the fight, he still weakened Brock's chin. In Brock's next fight, he couldn't take any shots from Cain. Cain succeeded where Carwin failed.

I was being a little biased because of the age of the other contenders like Cain (28) and Dos Santos (26) and other champions like Mir and Sylvia and Arlovski were younger then 36 when they won their titles. Shane should have beat Brock. Those punches were obviously hurting him or he wouldn't of curled up the last half of the 1st round.

i hate how everyone says the fight should have been stopped, Carwin landed SOME clean shots but not enough to stop the fight, Brock had blocked most of them and Carwin totally gassed. It's like they say, the better fighter wins every time

I wouldn't mind seeing Carwin holding the belt, just to see a Brock rematch. ...Carwin is possibly the best striker in the heavyweight division. and he's Brocks weight. ...Brock......has NO HANDS..rofl.

Funny I remember that Brock got lucky that Shane overworked himself, but given another chance Carwin would mess Brock up, actually after Carwin beats Nelson I see a Carwin vs. Velazques match that would be 50x better than any Lesnar matchup.

@dkblade27 he beat randy couture...that's your example..he had 4 inches and every bit of 60 pounds on him..he fought a washed up legend..he is a natural athlete born with the tools of a perfect fighter..he would have lost to Carwin but he had a freak amino acid build up in his muscles after the first round..Brock got LUCKY..Brock is a second rate fighter with a first rate body..that's it
