Batgirl named best dressed? Little miss librarian that can't even pull of black? No wonder Catwoman was upset. Hell, I'd be upset too. The award was named by men, and the only women there, were ones with idiot beehive hair with enough hairspray in there to choke an elephant. I LOVE Eartha Kitt's version of catwoman! But I've only seen 3 episodes of her. =(

While Eartha Kitt did a wonderful job at catwoman, my favorite would have to be Julie Newmar... That is one thing about this show that bothers me; they get my hooked on a villian and then they go and change the actor/actress.
I cant believe they replaced beautiful Julie Newmar with this... who ever thought it was idea to replace a white actress with a black one? did they really think nobody would notice the change?? if Julie Newmar was not available they could have used Lee Meriwether or any other actress but at least WHITE!

It's not common sense. Did it say anywhere in an official Catwoman bio that she is supposed to be white? Forever and always? Catwoman has had many different versions over the years (screen and comic form) but that doesn't mean it takes away from the portrayal of the character. Robin has had different versions ranging from lackluster boy sidekick to agressive boy sidekick to even being a girl once. Doesn't mean any of them were poorly executed they were just different.
She has been white from the beginning in the comics, and even if she was not, based on the show itself, she was originally white so it makes no sense you recast another actress that doesnt resemble AT ALL the one who played the character first. Thats why Lee Meriwether was a good choice for playing catwoman in the movie, since she actually has a resemblance with Julie Newmar, but how do you call having a character going from being white to black over a night? its called inconsistency.

You should replace actors with look-alikes.

It would be awesome to see Julie Newar's Catwoman vs Batgirl. I love Eartha Kitt performance but Newar would be very interesting since it was that version of Catwoman that was in love with Batman. Cool love triangle- Batman,

This show was so COOL at the time to guest star on, that old Hollywood stars were just lining up. And to see the real fashion designer Rudi Gernreich here in this episode is amazing. Its one of the best & campiest episodes ever.
@BACCSL i enjoyed all of them. its almost like stan lee wanted a catwomen for women of every culture. the white catwomen used to be more popular till halle berry did her versian of it now people realize theres more than one.lol. i liked eartha kitt and julie newmar best but i enjoyed watching eartha kitt do it more because she had the voice down better for catwomen than ms.newmar did
