  • cool, thanks for the feedback. My application would need up to 60-100 miles at a time.

I assume you have connections with TDW or other. if not, you should.

Those pigs have larger battery and data capacity that might be helpful.

We do smart pigs often, but would like to find a reasonable way to add in GIS on a run.

  • Please go to our website to learn more about this technology. We also have a distributor in the US who is looking to take this technology into the Oil and Gas Industry. You can google DuctRunner or Reduct (company name). Good luck and thanks for the interest

  • If it can't be connected to a pig, it has little usage.

how short of corner can it turn?

  • It can be connected to a pig, but not in this form. This technology was originally designed to create accurate As-Builts. The system however can also provide information about pipeline alignment, bending radii, welds and weld offset. The greatest advantage of this system is that it can map up to 2.5 km (1.6 miles) of pipeline in one shot. For the Oil and Gas Industry we have other systems that can travel far greater distances.

We have units that can do 1 and 1.5 D bends.

  • Wow, great technology, very usefull information
