  • Curious i have many original sleeve from the 70's to 80's with the printed mention ( for cleaning record used only 90 degree alchool with coton stamp or demineralized water or professional cleaner and nothing else ), the brush cleaner is only to busted the dust before listing not for wash.

Never ever use a cloth you ruin the groove .

the wood glue seem to be an extreme solution for cleaning but i think it works.

And of course you can touch the groove it didn't ruin it.

  • how come expert village finds the lamest people that arent professionals

  • "... probably should clean it, makes it sound better" (cleaning it with a cloth and fluid washes the dirty slush into the grooves where the cloth can not reach. Visualize it like cracks in a sidewalk or concrete floor where dirt collects, and mopping will not reach) .... have a whiskey, makes ya feel better! ;-)

Forget the cleaning cloth and fluid folks!! The only way to clean a record (that needs it) is with a professional cleaning machine that gets down into the grooves!
