Just a tip regarding the fraps thing.

In your fraps options it will give you an option at what FPS to record at. Set it to 50+ YOUR gameplay will look crap while trying to play it, but the recorded fraps video will look like your normaly playing it.

Give it a try.

Hehe. Download a cracked verson or somthing so you can record for longer. Full editions give you better compression also. :)

Hey, I'm thinking about getting a second 9600 gso 768 mb card and putting it in SLI. Would that be okay, and would it preform alot better with a phenom x4 9000 I'm planning on ordering too?

Definetly a quad core is always 100% better in Cryisis and a secong 9600GSO will be sweet

Don't forget to overclock your CPU past the 3.2Ghz mark. Any below 3.0Ghz is a bottleneck, no mater what it is. To get the best performance from your GPU, you need to OC your CPU.

this is the game with 9600gso but now I have a 9800gtx+ I have not made a Crysis video with 9800gtx+

hd 4850 is good too! I am getting two 9600gso's for overclock, really sick performance for like $170! Pretty much the same as the 4850, but better performance

P.S why is XFX forgetting to put shit in there boxes? My 9800GTX+ only came with one molex to pci, i dont need it but still, and only one converter from DVI to VGA, and no little sound cable thing like shown in the picture

I dont know I think vista, I was going to say the resolution but I can also play at 1440X900 with nice FPS, maybe 2GB Dualchannel ram or the 6000+ @3.00

I have a similar build but with an Athlon 5000+ 2.6GHz and XP, I can't seem to get a smooth fps on all high, what's your secret? Medium is very smooth though
