i used to have a 2004 altima v6. hallled ass then looked at a blue 2.5s altima coupe. and this thing felt soooooo fast even though it wuz 2.5 it wuz only a lil bit slower then my 2004 v6 altima and i cudnt afford the v6 soo i got 2.5s coupe and this thing is fucking sweeet. handles good drive fast but after 30,000 miles it started to feel slow cuz i beat the shit out of the gas pedle lol and i dont have it n e more but in 6 months im planin gettin a used v6 altima which is cheap now =D
Ridinbenz888 u are realy stupid and know nothond about cars he is comparing it with the FRONT WHEEL DRIVE CARS can u understand this ... tell me how in hell can u compare a fwd with a rwd ..omg guyz pls dont comment if u know you are stupid .. actually this is funny hehe
In the end when they said interior space is important, try to fit into the back...it is so small. Honda Accord is def the way to go when considering coupes in this range
i saw the altima coupe, it is a nice car no question about that, but i decided to go with the accord coupe instead. performance and design wise, it's just the better car especially with the 6 speed manual ( which i have ). the accord is only listed @ 268 hp for marketing reasons ( the acura RL is listed at 290 and i guess honda didnt want to take away from the upper end sales ), but actually the accord cuope pushes something close to the 280 - 290 range.
problem is the accord coupe is the sissified styling. i saw a new one in blue, and there was a bald guy driving it, and it just seemed unnatural to see a dude in it
correction honda accord 2.4 175hp or 190hp for the v6 acord it only has 268hp the altima comes with 270hp....i did the research.....i have the 2.5 07 altima and love the car...
I was going to buy a stang gt but they suck in the winter!! altima coupe is just what im looking for.I have a problem with making a car payment and driving a car only 6mo per year..and driving a junkpile all winter..
Nissan isn't a bad car, and yeah it did win the ENGINE OF THE YEAR. But, the Honda will beat it for next year... [Accord - 2.4/ 200HP (COUPE) 3.5/ 273HP (COUPE)] [Altima - 2.5/ 175HP (CPE + SDN) 3.5/ 270HP (CPE + SDN)]... Honda wins. But Nissan is still in their above THE POS CAMRY. =]]
:/ accord coupe aint seeing the altima coupe only the 08 coupe is seeing it even then that coupe is much heavier and bigger than the altima se coupe ...... nissan got the 10 best engine in the world award again :) not honda ;)
Well, I just sold my Mustang GT and my 3.5 6 speed coupe comes in Monday. As much as I like the performance, look, and loud exhaust note (not stock). I wont miss the fuel economy, shitty weather driving abilities, warranty work, cheap interior, etc.
And hell, I hate honda/pontiac G6 err G35 knock off.
I agree when the commentator says that this is not a "2-door sedan." These cars are so beautiful. I've got a red 2.5S, and am very happy with it. I don't even feel the need to have the 3.5 V6, though I know it would be badass!! Altima coupes are wonderful!
Well, they had the CVT Auto version of the car. There's a guy on YouTube that hit 0-60 in his Altima coupe, with manual transmission in the 5.8 second range.
Good looking car. I don't really care about how fast it is seeing I'll be stuck in traffic 95% of the time. I live in a city and I'm constantly getting stuck in traffic for hours, plus high gas prices make the 4-cylinder a better choice for urban dwellers. But anyways, a really sexy car, great price!

These things are hideous. There isn't a single angle that make it look good. I'm a huge Nissan fan and all, but I'd rather get the new Accord coupe.

That's not true, Hondas/Acuras are the #3 most reliable cars made. But I really like the Altima coupe, it's Infiniti Status.

Honda Accord Coupe is cheaper from the Altima Coupe (im talkin about 3.5 Nav) but altima coupe is more powerful!

If you are into a SPORTIER car, that is good. if not, that is bad. "hungrier" bsically means that it craves more

Disagree on the interior space - small & cramped. My gf just got one and my g6 coupe is way easier to navigate.

o cmon you cant do a 1/4 mile with a CVT you hav to do it with manual to get the true potential
bruno52192 4 years ago
Looks like a very good contender to the accord coupe. Some other magazine (I think MT) got 0-60 in 5.8 seconds.
dustrman03 4 years ago
yeah i got the same thing, ive noticed the edmunds insideline always comes up with slower times than other popular car informers.
