It is truly heart breaking as a Packer fan to hear so many negative comments towards Brett. He gave us something to hold onto and cherish for the rest of our lives. He gave EVERYTHING he had, EVERY game - for US, the fans. 321 career starts, almost all of them wearing the Green and Gold. Two decades of pure love of the game. And yet so many of you have thrown him under the bus. Us true Packers fans will welcome him back with open arms to retire the #4 4ever! Thank you Brett, we will not forget
@ThaDon419 No. He TRIED to teach the Packers and TT a lesson for not letting him run the team - keep Sherman as coach, sign his old linemen, sign Randy Cancerass Moss - and "retired". He said so himself that he didn't get REALLY P.O.'d at the Pack until THEY closed the door on HIM by drafting two QB's. He then tried to engineer his way onto the Vikings by "forcing their hand" but they traded his ass to the Jets so he had to wait a year to "exact his revenge" by blowing yet another playoff.
Brett Favre greatest quarterback to ever play the game dont care if he played for the vikings. He will stay at the top of that leader board when we all have great grand kid.
No one will defeat the greatest player to play the game Brett Favre
Favre could have made his 09 run with the pack! TT is has no appreciation for a legend. I would easily have given up Rodgers' flash in the pan success if it would have meant letting Favre lead the team that he loves. He never once quit on this city, and now all of a sudden everyone is quitting on him. Don't get caught up in ARod's success. Im happy for him and im gone let him finish. But favre was one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Of all time!
@lois9048 TT looks like a genius right now, ill bet you a million dollars Rodgers turns out to be a better packer than Favre, hell he'll even pass Bart Starr
Wow what a Piece of Shit..I'm so glad he left my town before his true colors came out. He cheated on Dianna with at least 20 girls I know of while they lived in my Green Bay. I feel so embarrassed for her that she had no idea while everyone the last few years knew...you're a terrible man, Mr. Favre. We hate how you did our state this way, but we as a good hearted people hate how you did your wife and family this way. Shame on you.
Brett Favre will always be remembered as a PACKER!! It will take a few years to get over what has happened, But in the long run He'll be remembered as a Packer...
He, Brett, is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! He LOVES the game !! He has left his heart on the field over and over .. he gives it everything.. Thats why everyone loves him !! And yes, he is DRAMA but who has given the NFL more excitement.. NO one, is as FUNNY or UNPREDICTIBLE!! The NFL and ALL of us will MISS the RIVERBOAT GAMBLER!! FOOTBALL WILL NEVER BE THIS EXCITING AGAIN...:(
Packers, Vikings, Jets, doesnt matter. # 4 is the best. Not for the championships or records but for his love for the game and I promise when he's gone we wont see another qb with his magic or passion for a VERY long time. My ALL-TIME fav football player. Thanx Brett for making me love the game of football.
im a Pats fan, but it doesnt matter who u like this guy is football he keeps playing 4 fun n not 4 money he loves football n thats y he is the best out there
your ma's a whore, Favre is football without him the NFL is nothing,,Favre rules, so he makes mistakes here and there its cause he tries too hard at times, he is still magical, love to watch him play go FAVRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there will never be another great quarteback like him,, hope his grandson will be another Favre in the making lol
attention whore... a ridiculous premadonna.i use to respect the guy, until i realized how much of a sleezeball he is... all he does is clamor for the limelight... why you think so many people dont like him now? they arent haters.. they seeing the real brett favre.. a attention grabbing camera limelight whore.. i respect the real qbs.. you know like tom brady.. who serves the humble pies =] all my pat haters and doubters, we doing alirght so far too eat crow..actually we ate raven this week haha
brett favre=greatest quaterback to ever play. bar none. i love this guy. the attitude he plays with the passion for the game. everything about him. the guy is one of the last true players.
i cannot wait until the day he is inducted into the hall of fame, and talks about how much he loves the packers , its just too bad it ended that way. but after this little stint with the Vikings...all will be forgiven. BRETT FAVRE FOREVER A PACKER!!!
@umyshortie It was the PACKERS that turned their back on FAVRE! Favre did not turn his back on the packers! when he said i want to come back and play they said no, and when the packers organization announced their roster in front of all the season ticket holders and brett favre was not on it the fans gave the organization a standing ovation! It was the packers and green bay fans that turned their back on Favre! after all those years of service you spit in the mans face!
You're an idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about. Sorry. They sent down several people to try and talk him out of retiring after he initially made his decision. Each of the next THREE months he talked to McCarthy and asked if the door was open to him coming back and EACH time McCarthy asked if he could commit 100 pct.
It wasn't until he asked McCarthy AGAIN and McCarthy said, "no, we're moving on".
The Packers wanted him back. HE bailed and forced his way out.
OMG THIS MADE ME CRY!!!!All of us real Packer fans will always support Brett no matter what. Brett is a legend because he never gave up. He never let the haters get to him. He was always so strong!! I love the quote "As the years pass the doubters increase in volume"
that comment really got to me because it is true so many people will doubt Brett's ability to still play the game of football in the NFL
the only reason us PACKERS fans dont like him as much is because we supported him when he lost his dad, his wife was beating cancer we were always their for support n love n in return he join the rival team
Sad to see so many Packer Fan's despise him for choosing to play a game he so loves. It's just pathetic, I'm from Green Bay, I'm a Packer's Fan first above all else. However, I know a Great Football Player when I see one, and that is Brett Favre.
He made us a powerhouse, he took us to two SuperBowls, he won us one, we waited 29 years for this moment and for someone to lead us there, he helped to do that.
@mack41288 some fan had a sign at Lambeau, when the Vikings ( with Favre) played at Green Bay (last season) which said "RESPECT THE LEGEND NOT THE UNIFORM" no matter what.... I think Favre is one of the toughest, most genuine, grittiest, competitors ever to play in the NFL period. And I'm a Packer fan at heart
@TrueSephiros Damn I'm glad to see I'm not the only Packer fan living in Green Bay who holds respect for Brett and what he's done for our city. Thanks for posting that comment.
@TrueSephiros Nobody seems to remember we had the best D in the NFL that year! Favre choosing to get back at the Packers because they were sick of him holding them hostage every year. Listen I loved Favre for 16 years but when he put the purple on I lost all respect for him. Just think if Favre plays for the Pack on 08, Rodgers would be gone and no Super Bowl win this year. Think about that!
@jwo06 I understand his dibble dabble. However put yourself in his shoes, and see how you'd feel being removed from an organization you played for 16 years. Yeah, it would've been different had Favre been playing instead of Rodgers, however lets get something Straight here, Rodgers early success is because he's joined up with a Great Team. Young Favre did not have that in 1992.
I don't care if he played for the Vikings because it was for the Love of the game, that's all that you need.
Let him move on, he is and will forever be a Legend, he'll be remembered most of all as a Packers, 10 yrs from now, most of you nay-sayers will turn your face and realize this fact, that regardless of what team he plays on, he was one of the Greatest Ever.
yes im well aware of that moron... its not like they were gunna beat the patriots anyways. They woulda got blown out by the 07 Patriots so whats it really matter?
Networks always go all out for a game featuring Brett Favre. They ran this in its entirety as the opening tease and then again to start the second half. That's a strong testament to how good this video is.
funny how fast packer fans will abandon their "hero" just like that. he's not a criminal, doesnt cheat on his wife (that I know of) Im sure heand every other athlete has but gets treated likes he';s ochostinko. unbelievable u packer fans are... Im glad your team missed an opportunity to win a super bowl (which Im sure he woulda if he was a starter the past 2 years), hope he goes into the hall of fame a viking
Thank you Deanna, and to your family, for letting us share the moment awhile back at H/V in LB. Our kids loved the fact that Brett took a few moments to talk with them about their lacrosse season. It made them feel so special. Take care, cj from LB.
i am 49 years old ... i have been a packer fan since 1967.................so that means I have been a superfan for 42 years.............brett favre is a legend.........we owe him our gratitude for a modern day championship........he retired the packers moved on.......brett came back.......don't blame the packers.......he retired
LOL. And when I say LOL, I am laughing directly at you.
You just named 7 games in an almost 2 decade career.....LOL.
And in regards to the 49ers game that you listed above, Just ask the 49ers which qb has maken them heartbroken more than any other qb in the last 30 years...and go see what they tell you.
Yes I'll argue with NFL network and Sports fictionistrated.
And believe it or not, I won't site other sites or networks when I do it. I'll try something called a fact. Do you know what those are?
Ok try this one......
Brett Favre is #2 all time in 4th qtr & OT comebacks behind John Elway. A total of 43 comebacks and OT victories. 43...take a second to digest that. 3 seasons of football is 48 games. He has almost 3 seasons worth of games that are clutch.
In addition. You named 7 choke games. I just named 43 clutch come backs. And that doesn't includes all the many games that he just kicked ass without "coming back"
Ok now your turn. Go look up what another web site claims and post it here.
I know about Brett Favre's Comebacks in the REGULAR SEASON, but what has Brett Favre done in the PLAYOFFS when it Counts Buddy. Exactly. Brett Favre is the Greatest Regular Season QB Ever, there is not debate on that but not in the Playoffs. Its a Different Brett Favre in the Playoffs Throwing Interceptions at the Wrong time. I posted Brett's Playoffs Results for Packers since 1998. Since 2001 Brett in Playoffs 16 Interceptions & 14 TD's thats not good.
as a packer fan i still love brett and i hope they still retire his jersey.... i think the booing was a little out of hand, he didnt exactly came out 2 the field alone, and besides fans boo opposing teams all the time when they come out
I liked this video because he was in a packer jersey. I could deal with the jets jersey but the vikings jersey makes me hate him. when he retires, i will remember him a packer. I am a packer fan, not a favre fan and brentnhilary, never call us puke fans. you cant possibly believe that and he did get old for us and the jets. the only reason hes doing well for the vikings is he is determined to try and stick it to his old team and coaching staff.
Favre and the Vikings will win the Superbowl and he'll retire a Viking. Greenbay has no class, and all the puke fans at Lambeau showed it when he came back to play them.
Legends make their own stories. That was a great line. Brett Favre deserved to be taken back into Green Bay regardless of how many times he was unsure if he still wanted to play. It's a disgusting move to shun a legend... Mike McCarthy.... I bet you liked Favre spanking you twice this year hmm?
As a life long Packer fan and a Favre fan I say thanks for all the memories. Its not over yet for some one this special. Thanks Deanna for this. One thing may people forget is how seldom a athlete with this talent comes along. Enjoy it while you can! God bless Brett Favre.
I'll never forget how much he meant to the organization. Without him, who knows what the Packers would be like? I look forward to the future and Aaron Rodgers. Hopefully thirty years from now when people think about the great Green Bay qb's, they think of Starr, Favre, and Rodgers.
I wish him all the best in Purple and so far it's it's working out for him. Thanks for all the memories here in Green Bay Brett! Ted Thompson can kiss my white ass by the way.
It makes me laugh when people talk shit about favre. Waa waaa u were my idol now that changed! Ur a traitor! Waaa waaa!!! Fucking cry babies!! Obviously u care about the guy if u take the time to watch his vids and comment! He loves football!! Even if u don't like it, at age 40 he's still better than most qbs in the NFL!! He'll prove it this year 2 whe he beats greenbay twice and gets that fag Ted fired!!!
Dude your a complete retard. He IS IS IS IS a trader. And he sucks my left tes. When he went to the Jets ,well didn't like it but when he went to the Vik Queens that made him a JOKE. Any so called Packer fan that roots for him just once in my eyes is a Loser. & I watched this cause Deanna is hot & I was hoping I would see some ......lol She had clothes on Dang !!!
learn how to spell please. My eyes are burning thanks to horrible spelling. Oh yea, you are right about Deanna being hot but you don't have to be a perv about it.
smartest thing ive heard anyone say about anything...right on..I was once a packer fan but that was before they turned their back on him..now it's gona bite ted thompson in the ass
Legends write their own stories, indeed Deanna. Brett's got all the gifts and he doesn't get in the way of them. He's the most fun and inspiring of any pro athlete today. Nobody's got that kind of magic, just the boy with the golden arm.
Brett Favre I hope Packers fan still love you. To me you will aways be the Greenbay Packer. I hope you'll get your number retired this year. Take care number 4.
love it....makes me wonder.....will we be looking at Cassel like this with the chiefs here in 15 or so years if he's still playing?...i hope so....i want a hero like this, like Len Dawson was for the Red and Gold....just like u all have had for the green and gold.....Retire in peace brett...RIP....u were such a great example of what the America's game was all about, not money, but pure passion and love.
is it bad that even though i'm a lifelong Giants fan, i have tears coming down my face right now? Brett Favre is legendary. Anybody who says otherwise does not have the right to call themselves a football fan.
i am a true baltimore fan, born and bread...however, i think no matter who your favorite team may be, you prob. would not mind loosing to this guy....i would like to see him win one more super bowl before calling it quits.
Brett Favre is the man and always will be a Packer but hoping he goes out with a super bowl win with the JETS and that would be amazing.Brett Favre is fun to watch and he plays with passion when he plays
Regarding Brett Favre, did you know that Brett is not only the greatest player of any sport that ever lived...
but also the greatest American that ever lived, the man who cured Cancer, who invented a Time machine from a Delorean, who saved the World from Radical Islam, who feeds all of the homeless in his spare time. He was also a Piano prodigy, is the smartest man alive, the kindest man alive, and the bravest man ever to have lived????
Brett you are the best! I hope you come back to the Pack, but it doesn't look too good. I will always support the Packers, but you will always be number 1 in my eyes!
Watching this video, I almost get a sense of what is driving Favre to come back. "THEY" told him he was too old, and well, he wants to be carrried off, and if he can't play no more, it will be evident because he won't walk off. More respect today than yesterday.
hes not the greatest, elway was better, and petyon will go down as the best from mississipppi and has more class then this phony.Hey packer fans, what about all those years he held your team hostage unsure if he would play or not, and then he complains how the organizstion treated him. Sorry,Brett is way out of line with the garbage he has pulled recently.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I can dislike him all I want, never liked him, Elway was better, beat him in super bowl and never did the broncos organization wrong, or held them hostage for his services. Screw Brett Favre!

Hope you can come back for another season
lezama88 2 years ago 3

Kind of like Viking fans all of a sudden jolted to Favre like he was next coming of Christ?
Shut your damn hyprocritcal mouth loser. No one cares about you think.

Thank you Deanna, and to your family, for letting us share the moment awhile back at H/V in LB. Our kids loved the fact that Brett took a few moments to talk with them about their lacrosse season. It made them feel so special. Take care, cj from LB.

Which is why the Packers have 12 World Championships. Just saying.
LordMurgen 2 years ago
Let's not kid anyone here. You take away two "era's" one of which was Favre's, and the GB Booers have nothing. Actually, worse than nothing.
And after what that organization did to their all time greatest player, the Booer organization will never again be the same.

LOL. And when I say LOL, I am laughing directly at you.
You just named 7 games in an almost 2 decade career.....LOL.
And in regards to the 49ers game that you listed above, Just ask the 49ers which qb has maken them heartbroken more than any other qb in the last 30 years...and go see what they tell you.
subpar07 2 years ago
NFL Network & Sports Illustrated have Top 10 Clutch QB's of All Time list.
And guess what Brett Favre is not on both list. Do you want to argue with with NFL Network & Sports Illustrated? Go ahead.
That just tells you how much Brett has Choked in the Playoffs Interception after Interception Choking in Crunch time.
Brett Great in the regular season but not the playoffs.
gfscarface13 2 years ago
Yes I'll argue with NFL network and Sports fictionistrated.
And believe it or not, I won't site other sites or networks when I do it. I'll try something called a fact. Do you know what those are?
Ok try this one......
Brett Favre is #2 all time in 4th qtr & OT comebacks behind John Elway. A total of 43 comebacks and OT victories. 43...take a second to digest that. 3 seasons of football is 48 games. He has almost 3 seasons worth of games that are clutch.
Case closed, and you lose
subpar07 2 years ago
In addition. You named 7 choke games. I just named 43 clutch come backs. And that doesn't includes all the many games that he just kicked ass without "coming back"
Ok now your turn. Go look up what another web site claims and post it here.
subpar07 2 years ago
I know about Brett Favre's Comebacks in the REGULAR SEASON, but what has Brett Favre done in the PLAYOFFS when it Counts Buddy. Exactly. Brett Favre is the Greatest Regular Season QB Ever, there is not debate on that but not in the Playoffs. Its a Different Brett Favre in the Playoffs Throwing Interceptions at the Wrong time. I posted Brett's Playoffs Results for Packers since 1998. Since 2001 Brett in Playoffs 16 Interceptions & 14 TD's thats not good.
I rest my case. Gimme
More Brett Excuses
gfscarface13 2 years ago
You're only as good as the rest of your team. And only 1 qb at the end of each season didn't "choke" by your standards.
Brett Favre did get his team to the superbowl twice, and won in once.
By your standard, Dan Marino isn't any good either.
You lose again.....
subpar07 2 years ago
Oh really Wow how many times I hear that from Hypicrote Double Standard Brett Fans. "we win cause of brett and lose as a team"
Dude get out of here. OWNAGE OWNAGE
I OWN YOU.
Oh and about Dan, Dan is on the Top Ten list and not brett with 1 ring. Whats does that tell you. LOL.
gfscarface13 2 years ago
Or he's doing better with the Vikings because the Vikings are a better team.
jkramar 2 years ago
as a packer fan i still love brett and i hope they still retire his jersey.... i think the booing was a little out of hand, he didnt exactly came out 2 the field alone, and besides fans boo opposing teams all the time when they come out
6818ro 2 years ago
I liked this video because he was in a packer jersey. I could deal with the jets jersey but the vikings jersey makes me hate him. when he retires, i will remember him a packer. I am a packer fan, not a favre fan and brentnhilary, never call us puke fans. you cant possibly believe that and he did get old for us and the jets. the only reason hes doing well for the vikings is he is determined to try and stick it to his old team and coaching staff.
gtd675 2 years ago
i couldnt agree more.........i have always loved Green bay, but after what happened i am a Favre fan only.......GO FAVRE!!!
GeneralMcLame 2 years ago
Favre and the Vikings will win the Superbowl and he'll retire a Viking. Greenbay has no class, and all the puke fans at Lambeau showed it when he came back to play them.
BrentnHilary 2 years ago
Legends make their own stories. That was a great line. Brett Favre deserved to be taken back into Green Bay regardless of how many times he was unsure if he still wanted to play. It's a disgusting move to shun a legend... Mike McCarthy.... I bet you liked Favre spanking you twice this year hmm?

Regarding Brett Favre, did you know that Brett is not only the greatest player of any sport that ever lived...
but also the greatest American that ever lived, the man who cured Cancer, who invented a Time machine from a Delorean, who saved the World from Radical Islam, who feeds all of the homeless in his spare time. He was also a Piano prodigy, is the smartest man alive, the kindest man alive, and the bravest man ever to have lived????

Brett you are the best! I hope you come back to the Pack, but it doesn't look too good. I will always support the Packers, but you will always be number 1 in my eyes!
tbone76784 3 years ago 2
Watching this video, I almost get a sense of what is driving Favre to come back. "THEY" told him he was too old, and well, he wants to be carrried off, and if he can't play no more, it will be evident because he won't walk off. More respect today than yesterday.

Sorry,Brett is way out of line with the garbage he has pulled recently.

I can dislike him all I want, never liked him, Elway was better, beat him in super bowl and never did the broncos organization wrong, or held them hostage for his services. Screw Brett Favre!
nyrgamer 3 years ago
Wow, one game automatically makes you better? Makes so much sense.
Brett Favre turned the whole Green Bay Packers team around into what they are today.
People blame him for leaving the Packers, but look outside the media. He wanted back into the Packer's camp, but they wouldn't let him.
