because theres a teenager runner a prostitution ring........most parents would probably find that offensive and not want that to appear at the beginning of kung fu panda or the dark knight
well regardless of wheter its appropriate for children or not they will and do see it... i saw spiderman when i was in 2nd grade (im just giving it a guess)and my parents wouldve been pissed if this was at the beginning...im very mature for my age,14, but i think that the appropriateness changes per child and per strictness of parent...im more laid back but i dont raise kids...also im pretty sure i wulda seen the dark knight if i was a younger kid these days

So this is it we sunk this fucking low in the world that movies like this are AOK. No morals left, and each succesive generation is a little more fucked up than the one before it.
2007 Pregnant Tennager (big shocker there)
2008 Tennagers Selling themselves for tuition
2009 Kiddy porn legalized worldwide (wonder who will buy the rights to that film)
Dancing88Mike.... I haven't seen it, but by the looks of it this movie doesn't endorse teenage prostitutes. Juno didn't promote teen pregnancy. I mean, did The Godfather promote joining the mob? Just because the subject matter is something immoral, it doesn't mean that the movie itself is, or that the subject matter is glamorized.
its quite a good example really.... i agree,we cant just say well movies are sending a bad message ...its more like...the kids watching it are to fucking dumb to figure out its just a movie ...and figure its alright to do shit like that...and in return, blame that on bad parenting .
Looks to me like the movie actually shows you the most likely and eventual disaster of such. Rather than promoting it.

Even though alot of people disagree with you, I see what you are saying.

just because a film is about a topic that may be taboo doesn't mean it promotes it or is a sign of declining morals.
sure, morals have sort of declined, but the fact that movies are coming out that aren't about a 6-foot invisible rabbit is not a contributor.

6 foot invisible rabbit?! What the hell are you smoking?! Thats a strange example to push your point
