  • Nick, 'Although I have not looked extensivel...' 'imagining my leg moving so fast and so far from such an extended position until such a flexed position (I'M not a physio) ...in my exhausted condition (heavy work load, medium life skills, light reha knowledge) I can almopst already feel my quads signalling a muscle pull - 'fail'. Please, demo your exercises for the weak and hapless, the worn and torn, the error prone, the ... In the end isn't all conditioning initially for injury prevention?

  • Nick,

Although I have not looked extensively at your other suggestions here, this one in particular could create the potential for injury just as much as your directive in medial crossing of the leg in supine and lumbar hyper-lordosis. It seems to me the wider position of the leg in the step through from down dog as a first time warm up (although quick) would not be warranted as a first stage for the knees, hips, and opposing inner groin.

  • I like this approach. Combines great stretching in little time

  • nice and simple. i'll start adding these to my pre-muay thai class warm up
