  • I love it!!

  • I love it!!

  • all that and no inside pics???

  • How did you build the hatch? are there ribs in there for support?

  • Absolutely beautiful. The wood is stunning and brings back memories of a better time. It looks tremendously practical.

  • What was your total cost?

  • @RottingBoard

$2500.00 plus a bunch of trips to lowes. Luck its only 2 miles away from home.

  • 1/8th inch plywood? is it sturdy enough? i like it

  • @brianwurst1234 Very much so. It will surprize you.Any thicker would be hard to bend.

  • No kit. Just had a good set of plans.

  • @bigaltr Nice job, where did you get the plans ?

  • Was this from a kit?

  • good thing we got to see the inside :(

  • "To" build, genius.

  • Looks beautiful! I'm envious~

  • Very good job, bravo !

  • The wood is only 1/8 thick. It took the curve easy because it was across the grain.

  • how did you bend the wood around the front, Steam?

  • hmmm.. Nice Job- I dont understand the concept of this design. I wanted to see the inside though.. It looks "confined" and im not phobic either.. This just may push me over the edge of that.. Maybe im wrong- I'll look for a interior shot- I LOVED the oak!

  • is that sherando lake?

  • @crazyboyaustin

No, its caverun lake. Its in Rowan county near Morehead Kentucky.

A nice lake and a very nice campgroud. One of the best.

  • how do you prevent mud and dirt from being brought in by your feet onto the bed

  • You enter butt first then lift your feet, bemove shoes. Sometimes pitch them under the camper of put them in a bag. Store the bag where ever.

  • well dun mate great job . i love it . class all the way . rat rod ralphy australia

  • oh how i want to learn about trailerswhile listening to your gay ass song choice

  • How much does it weight?

  • o ok thanx

  • How do u get the wood to bend without it brecking

  • I is only 1/8 or 3mm thick. Very easy.

  • Absolutely wonderful cabinetry. Also, one of the the better kitchens I have ever seen on any teardrop. Very practical.

  • that a great camper good job

  • No, this was my first Tear Drop. I have had others ask me to build one for them. It took me 7 months for compleation.

  • do u build these for a living?

  • Thank You. I had fun building it. Even more using it.

  • very nice wood work

  • This is nice

  • Search You Tub under "bigaltr" for 2 other videos. Good idea about top to bottom. I'll upload soon.

  • Nice to bad you did not give the full tourer from top to bottom or photos of it being built but thanks.

  • You did a great job. Can it get wet though?

  • Sure it can get wet. The aluminum top is for sure. The aluminum reflects the sun. The wood sides have 5 coats of weather proof coating. The same that you put on your house. We were camping on the Blue Ridge Parkway one night. A big storm came with hell. It stayed dry as a bone.

    Big Al

  • I didn't realize the top was aluminum. Those are really nice cabinets you built. My bf wants us to build one but I don't think we have the skills or the tools. I'm looking for a used Little Guy... just missed one on Craiglist that was for sale right here in my own neighborhood... ugh...

  • nice job!

  • Thanks

  • What is the size of the interior sleep area?

  • 5x6 foot.

  • great TENT what was u doing for the other six months ?? AH AH

  • f'in you mother.

  • Total of $2500.00 . I changed from the orginal 4 foot wide too 5 foot made it extra plus I used red wood for the inside and out. Useing cheaper woods you may save $500. It was a big project so I didn't want too cut any corners. If you deside to build I can give you some advise.

    Thanks for looking.

PS You will love building it plus camp more.

  • you spent that much, some teardrops are four grand

  • Where did you get the base treailer? Was that 5' wide?

  • Can you tell me how much it cost to build your trailer? I am thinking of building one myself if it is cost effective. Please let me know.

    Thanks!

    Rob

  • Thanks for the comment. It looks a lot better in person. All of the inside is oak as well. It still smell of new wood even after 2 years.
