don't think anyone who drives it will be disappointed with it's performance. If you want the extra power, then buy the h3 alpha that has a v8 in it.

Offroading ability is outstanding, and even with my crap tires, It still feels like you can get almost anywhere. It may not be the best offroader in the nations history, but it still is pretty damn good. Personally I think it is a little bit better than the Jeep wrangler but that being said, the wrangler is a badass vehicle.

then averaged about 15 driving around town. not to dis on the Silverado (because it is a great truck) but the Silverado with a 5.3 liter only gets about 17-18 on the high way, while a ford explorer gets about 20. So the h3 isn't the best, but definitely isn't the worst in terms of gas mileage

my parents own an 07 h3, and here is my take on it.

The h3 definitely has some sweet offroading abilities, even with the shitty tires I have on it now. I test drove an 06 h3 with the 3.5 engine and yes I will admit it was a little underpowered, but not to an awful extent. The 07 h3 is a little bit better, but its still a little underpowered.

Still, both of these cars have a decent punch to them, and get decent gas mileage. I averaged 19 on the highway going to the beach once, and

I'm not a tree hugger, but always thought that most H2's and H3's were built to haul groceries, take kids to soccer practice, and look good in rap videos.

However, I admire the H1-that was a cool vehicle that could take a lot of punishment.

My 84 5.7 V8 chevy suburban beat a massy fergoson tracktor with 1000 ft pound torqe in a pullout. It can beat any hummer in any offroad test you can think of without even needing the 4X4, yet it gets 15 miles per gallon without my modifications and it only cost me $1500 bucks used wile the hummer cost a arm and a leg allong with horrible mileage for power and stuggles to get even decent preformence. You get what you pay for unless its nothing but a pice of crap made of gold with dimonds on it.

Yea i dig the burb! but its really about style the hummer offers somethng different with luxury. Yea its expensive. but its does match the performance. the H1 or H3 or the better halfs in my opinion while the h2 is garbage.
