Israel have neither confirmed or denied that they have the bomb, and as far as I know, Israel never threatened to wipe out it's neighbors.

If you were the leader of a country in Middle East, would you want a country that threatens nuclear war with it's neighbor to have a nuke? If Iran gets nuke and uses it against Israel, the Middle East will burn and everyone will lose.

What kills me about some people is how much they are in denial about Iran. I've heard several speeches in which Ahmadinejad implicitly stated that wanted to make Israel disappear, or wipe it off the map. That is pretty blunt language, and I can't understand why people are in such denial. You can't get much simpler language than "Israel will be wiped off map".

If Bush said that about Iran, the international outcry would not end.

What kills me is that Iran hasn't invaded another country in 250 years. Israel has attacked all its neighbours. It recently destroyed Lebanon. It is seizing more Palestinian territory every day. It is besieging Gaza. People there are starving. Ahmadinejad did not say that Iran has any intention of attacking Israel. He said simply that, Israel, as a Zionist state would disappear from the map. It makes sense because Israel as a theocracy cannot sustain its oppression of the Palestinians forever.

Hamas is firing rockets into Israeli civillians, the mehdi army and badr brigades kidnaps sunni iraqis to torture and kill them, and Iran trains, arms, and supports these groups.

Out of all of these groups, Hezbollah is the only one that an argument can be made that they actually defend their country. And even then, they are not a legitimate force in that they are outside the Lebanese government. The Lebanese army is the legimate force in charge of the country. These groups are outlaw militias.
