A true classic "before-the-storm" snapshot. Clouds are darkening, lightning is increasing, and notice that every tree is perfectly still. Not even the birds can be heard. The lonely/threatening sound of the siren in the background tops the cake. A rate 5/5. Good job!!!
Good Video, I grabbed my webcam and laptop trying to get a good video of the storms...failed! I'm in East Cobb, marietta the storms were very scary. What video cam or webcam are you using?
Ah good, they must be older ones if they're pretty audible since those seem to be lower pitched and carry farther than the newer ones (i.e. SRNBs & 130s).
I think it is so weird that there are siren enthusiasts who cannot identify different sirens by their sound!

how often does "tornado" happen in roswell, georgia?
BLACKBEAUTY8989 2 years ago
@BLACKBEAUTY8989 I don't think an actual tornado has ever touched down in Roswell, but we get 2 or 3 warnings every year.

I have family that lived in your neck of the woods, I know the feeling when the sky gets dark and the sirens go off.
Great video 5/5 stars

it's just a flip ultra camera. super small and easy to grab in a pinch when the mood strikes.

That storm was insane. I deliver for Pizza Hut and I was out working in this. Where in Roswell was this?
mbatl0907 2 years ago
east roswell, just on the border with alpharetta. the worst part of the storm rolled up and around us, though alpharetta, milton and john's creek.

I'm glad you're ok! Suprisingly the tornadoes went around my area, I'm in marietta. This years going to be a bad year for tornadoes in Ga it seems.

Nice video, finally get to hear what Roswell's Federal Signal Modulator sirens sound like.

We have a few 2001's as well, just can't hear them in this video.
mbatl0907 2 years ago
Oh yeah, I forgot about the 2001s. Are they very loud normally? The ones here seem really quiet.
murrfarms 2 years ago
They are audible if you're within their range. If you are, they are louder than the Modulators. I live close to one.

Nope, there are no Whelens in Roswell. Only 2001s and Modulators.
