Read some real history books and not the sanitised ones in your country about what really happened between 1939-1945. It pisses me off as I know many Germans who feel the guilt of their forebears and respect the fighting qualities of our army. Grow up
@shahrid1987 I saw a TV interview with one of the surviving members of the Maori battalion He was a POW and Rommel came up to him and shook his hand and told him that if he could conquer the world if he had the NZ division. Ive heard the Australians claim this as well but it wouldn't surprise me if he said the same about both armies

I have this dvdsieris of WWll and one of them is about the ANZACs. And in it their talking about how the ANZACs where known for there bravery but also for there lack of discipline. And like an hour in the 1divison crossing a small river and the camran guy has obiosly ask´d some of them to make it look tougher then it is. And then there comes this guy with so much gear ammobelts and stuff but no clothes that right there just somesup NZ spirit for me. Doing our duty with a smile on our face.
great vid,you should read about the maouri division in crete 1941 when they did the haka to a company of german paratroopers and the germans not only shit themselves but the maori's earned the respect of the german's through the courage they showed not only with the haka but how they fought against the germans.the book is called the fall of crete by alan clark.
Thanks for the clip. It is a good reminder to us all who we are, where we come from. I think we are still trying to find out who we are as a people. There is something to be said about being overseas, wearing the NZ flag on your arm and seeing first hand, doing things differently that separates us from other nations. A small populated country on the other side of the world CAN make a difference. But for that to happen it needs the support of its people.
And no one sent as high precentege of there population as we did two divisons 150 0000 men from a population of just over 2million true kiwiglory. watching this clip makes my so proud of my great grandftather tankdriver in africa, KIA TOA MATE New Zealand forever GOD OF NATIONS AT THY FEET!!
