Hi PoM or anybody reading this I have a few questions related to ETW,
1. Why do players use the generals bodyguard unit when you can use a regular cav unit because it would be more cost efficient?
2. Why dont some players stretch their infantry out into 2 lines so all of there infantry can fire therefore increasing your army's firepower instead of putting them into 4-5 lines thick lines?
3. What would happen if a player did not obey the rules of a game?
It's a choice it can become a stretiegic advantage in a cavalry Attack charging the General in later stops your units routing easier.
#2. You can have just as much firepower if you put your 2 thick lines on a hill :) they'll fire above their heads.
#3. Nothing thats the shit thing, the Creative assembly have ruined the game Austria is only allowed 1 Falchum Jeager unit the contents shit and everything gets restricted.
So like the UK have the best lights but there restricted to 2.
1. personally I don't use general bodyguards as factions other than Mahartas, but they can help stop your troops from routing

Very well done yoeeb. Your greatest strength seems to be motion. Your forces stayed moving the whole time, making the enemy work faster than he could handle to keep up with your movements. You seemed to take some heavy losses from that artillery, but otherwise well done. Based off of that, I think you could kick my ass. I wouldn't be able to keep up with you lol.
you can get more men by going into the video options in the game and changing some shit about, its probably called unit size (not sure about empire as ive only done ot for rome and medieval 2) chances are ur computer will become laggy when fighting large battles are total war games are designed to choose the graphics options to ur machines capability. great vid 5/5

If you're not building you're own PC yourself, you're wasting money, I dont care how good the deal is, it'll never compare to buying the parts yourself online.
Untrue. Many companies sell PCs online cheaper than you can build yourself. Dell, for example, sell PCs where a customer has made a custom order and then cancel the order. I bought a PC with dual core 2.7ghz AMD 64 processors, an ATI HD2600XT card and 4gb of RAM for less than $400. Buying the parts to build it myself came out at around $500 at the cheapest..

It's as cheap as it gets for building a computer for modern games though and cheaper then buying retail, while some people will spend easily 800-3000 which IMO is overkill unless you plan on running the newest games on max settings with everything on while you burn CDs, run virus scan and chat in IMs lol.

its not that ottoman armies are weak it was just that the player had too many artillery, deployed his cavalry too early (if you have lots of artillery and you attack as fast as possible what use are they?). Should have stayed behind and defended. Lastly there were some opportunities to strike and route some units but he didn't take them.
I've never played this game before, could you give me a list of all the countries you can be?

Not really. Dual core 2gb ram and a decent video card. I can build a comp that runs this for like 500 bucks easy.

It's as cheap as it gets for building a computer for modern games though and cheaper then buying retail, while some people will spend easily 800-3000 which IMO is overkill unless you plan on running the newest games on max settings with everything on while you burn CDs, run virus scan and chat in IMs lol.

Its Cheaper to build you're own , then buy prebuilt.
Ive made a top-notch computer, only missing a i7 Intercore for £500, witch is good considering the graphics card was like £80 each. :L

Also turn off flags. (set it to 'never' option).
Play with the settings there, you'll notice the difference

its not that ottoman armies are weak it was just that the player had too many artillery, deployed his cavalry too early (if you have lots of artillery and you attack as fast as possible what use are they?). Should have stayed behind and defended. Lastly there were some opportunities to strike and route some units but he didn't take them.
