The majority of the worlds satellites are made in europe (UK/Germany mainly) and launched by european Ariane rockets. Europe also makes the most advanced commercial aircraft, cars, and trains, the mobile communication revolution is down to ARM RISC processors (ipads, 95% of mobiles phones) which are designed in the UK, etc etc. So don't just say america makes things better - it used to, in the old days. Not now.

At 60Tft it was 9 inches shorter than on the ground making design of flight controls and fusellage components challenging. My main responsibility became later the flight simulator for pilot training. I worked on various areas of the build. Cockpit layout, Pilot, CoPilot seats, Flight controls, Visor and nose hydraulics etc. A/c systems, 3CM´s control panel etc

Gentlemen, I my memory serves me well- the Concorde concept was in development for some 17 years before I joined as a designer in 1972. The initial studies were for a Singer type aircraft that could fly above the earths atmosphere. Various models were tested and the final version became the Concorde. 4 pre production models were built in 2 stages to test the concept. At no time were any Russian or other countries concepts or plans used.

@CBass2016 this is so tired now. Given both aircraft were designed for the same SST role, its hardly surprising that they look similar. Look at a family saloon, apart from a few details, they all have the same layout because it works. Fact is, the 144 was developed first, and was actually better aerodynamically, but had issues with engine reliability and avionics which were a fair way behind concorde as it was half a generation earlier in that regard, whereas concordes systems were all new.

Microsoft Flightsimulator 9, better known as FS2004 or Flightsimulatir 2004. The aircraft is a ad-on aircraft and not standard present in the sim. Not available anymore, the last of the Microsoft Flightsimulator series was Flightsimulator 10, better known as FSX, released in 2006. In 2008 the last expansion came under the name Exellerator. FSX is still available as Standard, DeLuxe and Gold edition. You need a real serious computer to run it nice and smooth.
