Saw them live a few years ago. They were awesome! All the people around me were high though and that was lame. How can you appreciate the details of this kind of music when you are too high to know whats going on? I don't think people get it. The MUSIC gets you high. That's what's so great about this group!
@PersianButtons I've only gotten high a couple times, one of which I tried listening to my fav MBM album (Actual Sounds & Voices) because I was feeling nauseous. I don't know if I was imagining things but I heard stuff I'd never noticed in 4-5 years of listening to the album, and don't recall hearing since. It's a different experience, some people like it, personally I felt slightly dizzier listening to the album. Can't tell people what they do and don't like.
