I was thinking of getting a Powercall 619 Electronic Siren. What would I need to run it? Is it worth it?

Wasn't the GE Power-Call/Siren the first electronic vehicle siren with a built-in PA? The Power-Call part specifically refers to the PA.

@911caddy I agree on the metal speakers Cliff.They are the best for dealing with harsh weather and bangs from speakers being mounted under the frame and or the bumper.Road debris and snow piles will eat plastic speakers to death.

@fmartinjr I can't disagree. Very few things come close, especialy to the classics! My girlfriend gets mad cause I play with my old mark-10 scientific siren when I'm bored. But my town only uses peirce units. I would love t ogo see their shop! You get all the luck. So when is the rescue gonna be done? I wanna see her, hopefully before the 10th when I go off to college.

You got enough sirens there dude?LOL I have 3 or 4 myself but no GE Powercall..I wish! Yep those things are ol skool for real and some people like the sound and some don't. Personally I do because it is a sound that takes me back to my childhood when this is what you heard in the early 70s and it sounds way better and more "power"full than the puny toy-sounding sirens of today..this is just my opinion and I'm sure many will disagree but to me this siren has more balls than the whelen's chirps..
