  • I was told by someone in the industry, that Blue Cross and Blue Shield is a non-profit organization.

  • I'm not being mean. That blond just cracks me up. She'd make a good voice for a muppet. It's so cute. I wonder what her husband is like.

  • That was Victoria Jackson Comedienne/actress from Saturday Night Live

  • Why is your mic blurred?

  • I LOVE VICTORIA JACKSON!

Putting that aside this is a brilliant demonstration of what astroturf is!

  • What a dumb question? More like what a dumb comment!

The libs have accused the protestors of being astroturf. The whole point she is making that those who are astroturf are the ones who support the plan. That's why she's asking the questions. The ones with professional signs are the plan supporters. The ones with homemade signs are the ones who don't support it.

    So who's the astroturf?

  • why does she keep asking "who made your sign?"

wgaf who made their sign, what a dumb question

  • Ogodfather, Thug Leader of the New World Order Mob & Dirty Chicago Politics of Organizational Control

God bless America & all that love, serve and defend her!

    It's the UNIONS STUPIDS!

  • Grass roots -- bussed in but grass roots.

    Yeah RIGHT!

Organized by DNC -- Bunch of mindless THUGS! roflmbo

  • Hey, that's Victoria Jackson at 1:27. She used to be on Saturday Night Live. I love her!

  • turns out it wasn't an act after all.

  • She was brilliant in SNL and a greatly underrated actress.

  • and apparently still in character

  • Yes, still brilliant. Unlike other comics who have gotten old, ugly, and bitter, like say a Dave Letterman or Bill Maher, she remains untouched by time and thoroughly adorable.

  • you left out Al Fraken, but I understand. doggonit, people like her! LMAO

  • Ah, Al Franken. With a face off the bar room floor. The reason I left him out was because he never was funny. He was always just a no-talent zero.

  • I knew she was from somewhere! Good lookin'.

  • Sophia Elena, thank you for providing this report. Funny how the guy was too scared to being interviewed. Democrats are claiming people opposing Obamacare are astroturfers. This report refutes most of that (and in L.A., of all places!).

  • sophia elena, I just wee weed myself wathing this great coverage you provided. Good questions, technique and great editing, not that there was much needed! KUDOS!!!

  • This really is like Night Of The Living Dead.

You are not following a leader, you are following a brand.

By referring to people with conscience as teabaggers you betray yourselves and show that you are literally brainwashed.

When you demand I pay for something I do not want it is theft. When you take it from me by force you reduce me to slavery!

Justification via public good does not make it right.

Ask me and I might, demand and I say NEVER!

  • Nice work Sophia!

  • Great reporting!!!

  • "The teabaggers"

No, lady, you and your hostile liberal friends - including your media - gave concerned citizens the name "teabaggers" because it is a crude sexual reference.

The people you refer to went to events called "tea parties" which were in the spirit of the original "Boston Tea Party" - a group of Americans gathering to voice their concerns about an out of control, tyrannical government.

  • actually that is not correct. The term came from the first post election tea party when the protesters either had tea bags or mailed them to people they opposed.

  • But the deragotory term "teabaggers" was still given by the libs.

  • a rose by any other name would smell as sweet

  • That may be when the term came about, but it was Olbermann, Maddow, and AC360 who used the word in describing good, honest, hardworking people in such a derogatory way.

We called ourselves 'tea party protesters' - big difference.

  • It's disingenuous to blame them for the unfortunate choice as if it is ok for people who were unaware of it's other meaning to use the word but not for people who do. The fact is the whole movement changed after the election. Now it is simply anti-Obama hoping it's prior status as anti-big Government would legitimize simple bias. Because it is no longer what it wants to appear to be is the reason why the "teabagger" analogy stuck.
