  • It's essentially an over-hyped ohmeter.

  • scientology is a fkn joke and all its subscribers should be culled.

  • Kinda knew about how the E-Meter works seince I have one I got from EBay LOL

after further study of it for a couple days I found out the parts inside of it are comprised of just baisic Posotive/Negetive grounding wires and a common eletronic servo Board nothing more nothing less.

Yeah thats some pretty High tech stuff $cientology Has right there LMFAO!!.

awesome vid though Bud,Oh I spent about $280 on Mine from EBay what did you pay for yours? (probly way less than Me I bet lolz).

  • We all know its fake, but you didn't prove anything, only that ur a big faggot.

  • @TheCitygal87 oh cool you must have mistaken me for someone who gives a fuck about what you think.

also not even my original vid so suckit, whore.

  • Scientology is BS... but with this video you didn't prove anything...

  • I have used the e meter before and what they say about the grip on the cans is absolutely true. Its so obvious that I do not know how people can be fooled by it I wasn,t and years later I am a Happy non Scientologist

  • hehehe the lightening the squeeze pressure and making the needle move is just like jogging on a treadmill with an eeg hooked up to your head or a pulse monitor on your chest. i'd love to see an epileptic have a petitmol siezure holding those and smashing the cans when the siezure intensifies the grip strength.

  • The e meter measures how gullible you are.

  • It doesn't work well as a lie detector either.

The US FDA gave it a pass except it comes in handy as a tool for psychics, and quackery to appear scientific.

COS members feel intimidated by it, so that is at least half the power of the device.

If it's just a resistance meter. than any multi meter from The Source or Best Buy would do the same for under $50.

  • @minnescanada It's.. sort of. It's a resistance meter with high sensitivity and an under-damped needle movement. The movement is the tricky bit - multimeters are designed show the correct ohm value, while e-meters are designed to show how the needle moves.

By the way, Scientologists do know that it's just a resistance meter. Dianetics outright says it's a "highly sensitive galvanometer". (No, I'm not a scientologist, but I read a bit of Dianetics to see what the big deal was.)

  • this needs to GO VIRAL MOFO ANON FTW! LOVE IT WOOO~!

  • lol this is pretty much exactly like the ouija board

  • Pretty stupid and unscientific video, guys. The E-Meter is just like a polygraph AND DOES move the needle in response to THOUGHT. I've used it hundreds of hours..............

  • @clr1961 lolwut

  • @clr1961 So you're a scientologist then?

  • @SPGoblivion I don't practice in the church - those guys are nutty. A real cult mentality.

  • @clr1961 if the meter moves in response to thought...then why does the person have to hold the cans?

    all scientologists are nutjobs...including you

  • @brabon1 I totally agree with you that I am a nutjob. Been one all my life, HA! But, I gotta tell ya, man......this E-meter is truly scary in its ability to react to thoughts. And then it gets more interesting when IT DOESN'T REACT TO ANYTHING THE AUDITOR SAYS..........the needle just floats lazily back and forth, back and forth, until you jump up real quick and scream at the guy holding the cans and the fuckin' needle dives to the right and won't come back.

  • @clr1961 are you for real? if you jump up and scream at a person holding the cans, he/she will have a physical reaction....its called fight or flight....most likely fight, which would cause that person to grab the cans tighter...thereby causing the e-meter reaction

again...if it can read thoughts and thoughts have mass...why does the person have to hold the cans?

dianetics is pop psych bs and scientology is evil

  • @SPGoblivion ah good to see that

  • @clr1961 Hahaha or its just a cheap toy that you've chosen to believe in... When the thing dies does that mean your brain dead or just closer to the ALIENS?

  • @DaUltimateFuzz I dare you to come say that to my face instead of hiding behind your computer taunting people..................I'll give you my address so I can prove to you how this thing REALLY works. but you're probably scared that there might be something to it after all.

  • @clr1961 go peddle your BS Xenu worshipping crap somewhere else noob, no fair game here! Your pathetic cult is a sham and Anonymous is paving the way for your downfall

  • @AnonOp1 You guys couldn't pave your way out of a cardboard box.

  • @clr1961 i can understand your disdain...i mean Anonymous has exposed this cult for the scam it is. But you should be proud of yourselves! i had no idea people would buy into an ancient space warlord dropping aliens into volcanoes and blowing them up with H-bombs, thus releasing their angry spirits and then brainwashing them and setting them free to find human hosts! well done! you have successfully exploited people with low self esteem into believing they need to pay to have aliens removed

  • @AnonOp1 Except for YouTube, I haven't heard or seen any widespread so-called "exposing" of Scientology. All of the initiates still IN the church are rabid fanatics as ever - just like the sheeple Christians. You'll have to understand psychology better before you can "free" those poor souls inside who know not what they are doing. Sure some are leaving. I left in 1996. I figured it out for myself after finding the data about "little Davy the Napolean". continued...

  • @clr1961 your cult is nothing but a criminal outfit with rich lunatics leading the flock, are you OT yet? maybe learning about Xenu is too high a level for you? how you sleep at night with all the blood on your hands and families you've split apart....but i guess for a large sum of money all your problems will go away? its funny how no one proteting your crap has been arrested yet you freaks are all over the papers, stalking, harrassing, fraud and then the most vile out of all of them....death

  • @AnonOp1 I'm not even a Scientologist. You got a wrong target this time. Wow. Such hatred. And yes, I did attain the so-called OT 3 status long ago. BTW, we're on the same side. i was recently pointing out how un-scientific the above video was. i KNOW the E-meter. used it for 20 years.

  • @AnonOp1 What a freakin' soap opera. You don't need the Xenu story. You need the story about the rape of the mission network in the 80s by Davy and his band of finance dictators. See freezone.de for all the juicy shit.............BTW, did you hear the FBI is investigating Davy now?

  • @clr1961 well sir i guess i owe you an apology....i commend you for getting out of the cult. BUT i reacted in defense of this video and your comment regarding it. i think the whole point was there isnt anything scientific about it. and besides youtube and worldwide protests their are lots of sites exposing scientology (but i feel just watching any interview with tommy davis should be proof enough) yes i did here about poor davy and the FBI and hope he gets whats coming to him.

  • and yes when it comes to scientology there is a strong hatred, especially since learning about "fair game" policies

  • @clr1961 your cult is nothing but a criminal outfit with rich lunatics leading the flock, are you OT yet? maybe learning about Xenu is too high a level for you? how you sleep at night with all the blood on your hands and families you've split apart....but i guess for a large sum of money all your problems will go away? its funny how no one protesting your crap has been arrested yet you freaks are all over the papers, stalking, harassing, fraud and then the most vile out of all of them....death

  • @clr1961 RIP Lisa McPherson ! sleep well Co$...dont let the Thetans bite

  • Comment removed

  • @clr1961 well, I"m THINKING that using that thing for 'hundreds of hours' is a huge waste of time...

    ... did the needle move?

I have a theory; religion was created to control the oblivious and the gullible, thanks for providing the evidence.

  • Scientologists believe the E-meter is a sacred religious artifact because it can validate the past life fantasies they mock up.

  • the CULT of scientology must die

  • This was one of the earliest lie-detectors that you made with those Radio Shack electronics boxes for $20. How can people take this shit seriously.

  • lurk moar

  • He's wearing a Guy Fawkes mask because he is Anonymous. That's what they do.

  • @LG93X They're newfags that think Anonymous is about attacking Scientology when it's not anything more glorious or glamorous than the sweat that drips off of a baby's brow.

  • Funny how that costs more than a polygraph... and it's vastly more simple.

  • Apparently, if a scientologist owns one of theese they have to pay money to the church each month or something like that. That's what I heard. Either way the E meter is bullshit.

  • OMG YOU SCIENTOLOGISTS ARE A BUNCH OF MORONS WHO DO NOTHING MORE THAN GIVE YOUR MONEY AWAY TO A BUNCH OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE TRICKED YOU INTO BELIEVING A LOAD OF BULLSHIT... get over it.. you will never see your money again.

  • I love this video. I have seen it multiple times. Let me ask you this: what determined the purchase of that particular e-meter? Was it the price point or the fact that it was up somebody's ass? Also, in a world where polygraphs are held in low repute why would anyone think a monograph would be any better?

  • OK I'll tell you 1 of the only 2 secret of this machine.

This is just a galvanometer (a dial to read tiny amount of different type of electrical current)... In this case Scientology program the machine to read THE RESISTANT OF THE SKIN to the constant electrical flow from the machine...

For that reason this machine scientifically should be called Transcutaneous bla bla bla. (anything scientology want to add)

The truly trick consist in THE QUESTIONS, the meter show the effect of the comm.

  • Do NOT change the grip. Your hands should be exactly the same as much as possible.

Then let somebody pinch you. The needle will fall. Then THINK of the incident when that person pinched you. The needle will move again. That's your thought being measured.

The e-meter is not a lie detector, it's a TOOL to help find incidents on the time track etc.

  • That's because thinking of anything causes involuntary muscular response and thus corresponding changes in galvanic skin response. It's not measuring thoughts; it's measuring bodily response. That's identical to one of the functions of the polygraph, or 'lie detector' as it's commonly known.

If we didn't have these involuntary responses we might as well be in a trance, basically.

  • I don't think that is a fair test of the e-meter. That's like trying to debunk a bathroom scale while standing on it and grabbing the counter and pulling up and down on it to effect the reading.

  • Congrats. your needle is floating. You have attained the state of clear. You see that is the test. If you figured out it bullshit, or are too stupid to figure it out and you still want to be in, you are "clear" to go up to " OT ". I figured it out when I was 11, and was clear at age 12. My parents spent over $100,000 on my scientology brainwashing, but never even gave college a single thought.

  • OMG I'm so sorry for you

  • bullshit meter

  • i only faved this video because of how gross the beginning was with the can in the dudes can and the jiz in the cans

    hahahaha that was so wrong

i didnt expect that at all

  • Oh E-Meter and whaddaya know, it's a piece of shit. I'd rather die than go to heaven.

  • its just a wheatstone bridge device which probably can be made from parts at caddy shack costing no more than $50 - $100 dollars as apposed to the huge mark up scientology charge for it.

  • I'm faving this too. What a goofy contraption. Looks like a cheap prop from the Men in Black lol

  • I'm faving and spreading this shit. Co$, what a fucking joke XD

    Anon=Win

  • Once again anon "WIN" I am glad you washed the thing first.

  • Did you ever take your emoMeter on a protest? You guys could set up your own stress cart.

    Awesome.

  • The scilons have quantum e-meters now, and if it uses the 'Q' word it MUST be scientific right? Otherwise it's just a gullibility meter!

  • it just a ohm meter

  • Good show.

You guys should try doing other experiments. Such as telling obvious lies about yourself. The truth etc. And show how useless this piece of junk is.

I also hope this E-meter which is essentially a voltmeter, didn't cost you guy too much money.

  • Yep. Same as their OT levels. LOL.

  • It's probably because it's an older model. The minute they release a new model all previous models cease to work.

  • Never heard of that, sauce?

  • That was a joke. The thing does exactly what you say: nothing. However scientologists are told they need to buy the newer model once it's released.

  • Yeah I remember that from Jason Beghe's speech on your channel lol.
