@WutangClan4LiF3 make sure that when you're tapping you are muting all other strings besides the one that you're playing. Another mistake that people make is when tapping dont just press down with the right and then just lift it off. You have to press down and then pull off with the right hand almost like you're picking the note. So fret with right finger to produce the pitch then pull off to what your left hands playing. keep practicing and you'll get it! good luck!

right in the begging when i start tapping the 9, 2, and 5 frets, i can hardly hear the 2nd fret note? any suggestions?

I kind of pluck the string a bit with the finger that is tapping. I dont pluck hard enough so that it sounds like im bending the note. I just pluck it enough to hear the other notes better. I hope that makes sense.

You used the mp-1 and used the JCM800 as a power amp? What are your gain/eq settings for the mp-1?

The JCM 800 was being used as a power amp, but I have no idea what my eq was set at back then. Ive changed my tone a lot since then. sorry :(

I used an ADA mp-1 preamp for my tone in this video. I haven't tried out any of those other Marshall heads but I can get my JCM 800 to sound really metal with an overdrive or distortion pedal.

It is one out now on ebay, but I dont like the finish or the shape of that perticular headstock shape (Gibson'ish), your headstock shape fits the guitar much more! But I'll bid on it tomorrow before the time runs out if the price is not to high. Yes very rare to find. But someday I'm gonna be an owner too! I would never ever sell it either :)

My tuning for this is a half step down, and the action is set pretty low. The tapping is on the B string. Rock on!

and people u shud stop freakin out over this its an awsome cover but the tapping is the easiest part of eruption ive been playing guitar for less than 6 months and i learned the tapping in like 20 minutes good cover tho
