My take on the lyrics mainly apply to my own situation. That someone dear to you, like a father in my case, left you for reasons that were uncomprehendable to you at the time but when you grew older and you had childeren of your own, you are afraid you're going to or even must make the same decisions he made.

Chords: Picking - B minor to B-minor with a G bass.

Strumming - verse - B min Gmaj Bmin Cmaj, Gbmaj Gmaj 2x.

Chorus: Bmin, Amaj, Gmaj, Dmaj, Dmaj with an F# bass to then a C#bass

I don't actually have a guitar with me right now so a couple of these changes might be a little off, but that's the idea
