It's from the Dune album, inspired by Frank Herbert's Dune series of science-fiction novels (I've read the first three books). I think the Dune piece (which is a half-hour long) is one of Klaus' greatest acomplishments.

That would be neat but Klaus split from Tangerine Dream because he said they spent more time talking about what they would play instead of the actual playing. It's a nice thought though.

The different colours are the different gasses at different altitudes in the atmosphere reacting to the electric currents that cause the aurora. Just done a presentation on it in science, lol
