The purpose of religion is to unite humanity in the service of the one true god. However, we cannot deny that religion is one of the major causes of indifference. If there are indifferences, then how can there be unity? Jesus Christ's ultimate teaching is very simple, love one another, but out of this teaching came thousands of sects in christianity with different views from each other, where is unity in that?

i beleive in an ALL MIGHTY FORCE(of energy) thats behind all life in the cosmos.This for me is GOD..not from any man made religion..that will always have an agenda of control,money,then politics..i wish there will come a time humanity wakes up and realize and see whats around them.You dont need anybody or any sect to tell you to do good to others..its within us ..its your consciense!Man made religion is a waste of time..its false..and exploits the poor ,the uneducated,,the undecided the needy!!

As the majority of the people of philippines are romam catholic, so then corruption is also and always rampant. Corruption is a curse due to Idol worship. Roman catholic people will always say they did not worship Idol, thats just like looking at picture in memory of those someone who died, but actually they do worship it, since they are under the umbrella of roman catholic in which by origin and nature of principle was/is pagan.

@mylab2 Just go read John 3:1-21 in the New Testament! Jesus says it Himself, that unless a person becomes Born Again, he CANNOT see the Kingdom of God! You are not TRULY Born Again unless you have had the supernatural recreation of your eternal spirit, by God! This switches your spirit to the "on" position to the things of God, and puts you on the path to heaven!

If you don't believe this, the Bible says you will NOT get to heaven!

That's what happened to the two people you mentioned - the simple fact that their flesh, and it's evil desires were enhanced by demonic influence! East Timor is the other dominant Christian nation.

Totally wrong! Jesus is the only way to God the Father, and Jesus is open to all who will receive him personally! The Catholic church is one of many denominations that doesn't even teach being Born Again! Jesus himself said the following verse himself:

John 3:3

Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, unless one is born again, he cannot be in God's kingdom." NCV

According to the Bible only those who become truly Born Again Christians will get into heaven! It doesn't matter what church or denomination you belong to. If you are not Born Again, you are on the path to hell.

God is forever, unknowable, and infinite. If he were to announce to the world his divinity he would not say so indirectly. He would say so directly.

Also in John 10:25 Jesus says "I have already told you, and you don’t believe me. The proof is what I do in the name of my Father."

He speaks that it is on behalf of his Father or God. So if He was God then why would he make reference to God higher than him?
