I learned about Yiruma just a week ago on Spotify. It wasn't until tonight, when I needed it most, that this song first started playing.
I had no idea that Yiruma is a Christian like me, and was just listening to his music to relax in a stressful time as I worked on my homework assignment. It's almost like this song was placed in the playlist just for me tonight. I haven't been to church in too long a while, so this was like God meeting me here at home instead.

Sometimes, I think the greatest revelation we can get from God is to know that we truly do matter to him, even when life may tell us otherwise. Many times I wondered where God always was when I was hurting the most, but I realize now that he was right there beside me every single time; crying with me and telling me that my pain did matter to him and he will see to it that I am one day restored. I hope you know that you matter to him and he longs to restore you too.

Just to clear things up, Roman catholic is a denomination within the larger Christian faith. I am a Catholic therefore I am a Christian. Catholicism is a denomination of Christianity, like there is Pentecostal, Jehovah's Witness, Church of England, etc etc, hope that helps! :-) God bless x
@nataliferrari Roman Catholicism is a cult. So are the Jehovah's witnesses. I'm not saying you can't be a Christian as a Roman Catholic, but you are very, very misled. Being labeled as a Christian does not make you a Christian. So I could say that I'm a Christian but if I do not show it, i.e the Holy Spirit living through me and a sincere change of heart, but most importantly if I haven't accepted Jesus Christ into my life as my personal Lord and Savior I am NOT a Christian.

@tK4Christ No, it's not different. Catholicism is one denomination among many within Christianity. I've heard this a couple of times from Asian friends and it bugs me because it's just so wrong. Jeeze guys can we all just agree that Catholicism and Christianity have similarities as well as differences? Both are based on the belief of God but they practice their beliefs in different ways. Is it really that big a deal what you call yourself? Your faith should be a lot more special than just a title.

@Selina4061 Many people label him as a New Age artist and as you know or not, New Age music can sometimes be contradicting what God has to say.... It focuses on trying to "find" your real self when your identity should be on what God wants you to be....

@tK4Christ No, it's not different. Catholicism is one denomination among many within Christianity. I've heard this a couple of times from Asian friends and it bugs me because it's just so wrong. I'm not Catholic, but to any Catholic it sure IS offensive to speak of Catholics as if they weren't Christians. It's not just my opinion anyway, you can check any reputable source and it will say the same. I don't know what you think "Christians" are, maybe evangelicals?

@hans89 they worship the same God, they pray, but they pray also pray to angels and saints while Christians pray to only Jesus and God. They are the same but practice differently. I was a Catholic before. I'm a baby Christian (just became) now, and I see some differences.

dude this song is beautiful but then again all of his songs are beautiful... but this one really stands out to me... I'd really like to know the story on this song because the title is "He Knows My Name" and I wonder if this is his way of using his gift of music to worship God... If it is, that is sooooo awesome! Their are certain parts in the song where it gets quiet and it kind of makes me imagine heaven and that when we get there it will be so beautiful that we will be speechless! :)

omgosh I'd like to know the story behind this song... I've been in love with his music through listening to it on youtube but then I heard this and now I'd like to know... Is he Christian? that would be sooooo awesome if this was about God! It's so beautiful!!! But then again all of his songs are beautiful... I think it is important to have the same human values.
Religion is just something to help to develop it...and not even necessary to turn into a kind hearted person.
Others can like him for that...but than I have a different question: Who can garanty, that he is a good christian? I guess: No one here on youtube.
He is talented and that`s undeniable.

We have been saved by grace through faith in Christ's death for us. It's not about what we can do, but what has been done for us. That's what makes us righteous in God's eyes...God looks at our heart. I'm not trying to make people angry or believe because of this, it's just that too many people have a twisted idea what Christianity is about.
