Then again my Whisper VH isnt standard. I have over a thousand dollars tied up in it to get it from that "shitty" stage to where it is now. i have the GRT-III trigger in it as well but it has been modified to get even less pull weight and perform much smoother.

@seinfeldman3445 I have had the stock filled solid by the injection molding it is made with to eliminate any unpleasant vibration. and the stock is now completely free floating in the stock therefore it is not hold sensitive once so ever. and can accommodate a bipod ( which i was using when i shot the sheet of poster board) without groups opening at all. i have gone thru alot of trouble to get it to where it is now. but it has earned its keep from all the times ive outshot my buddies tx200s.

I've been considering getting an Airforce Condor .22 for the past two years and I think I'll finally break down and shell out for one soon. What pressure do you fill to and how much velocity drop do you experience in your first 10 or so shots? What ammo do you suggest for long range shooting from a stock Condor? I'm shooting in the everglades which is calm in the cypress but along the canals often have a steady crosswind to add to the challenge.

Some mods: custom stainless breach, four one way wiper seals, custom titanium valve max 5.5 dai, custom knock valve with 22mm travel, custom tank fixture (M22 x 6 pitches to handle excess/modded hammer force as it spat the stock thread for the tank out of the gun frame, custom spring (variable pitch), custom barrel retainers, .224 MAE silencer (blew stock moderator to pieces), custom triger assembly (to hold higher spring rate on hammer) many more

never had a prob with mods, the only diff between a talon and the condor is the valve and the barrel, if i wanted a condor i would have got one. I was going to mod it anyways, so the only thing that would be different would be the body, and thats only aesthetics. My airgun has allot more power than the standard condor. I knew somebody that owned a marlin. Nice rifle at a great price but there are a few drawbacks. It's hard to reload .22 casings with home swaged projectiles or to experiment with bullet/powder loads until you get something that fits what you're doing. It's illegal to fire a rifle in the back yard so while they're both loud and both powerful, one will put you in jail and the other will not. A .22lr is not a .177/.22 airgun so I'll have to sell it and use the money to buy an airgun anyway.

The American model Talon does 1000fps, Condor with 24" barrel does 1250fps.
