Not withstanding that individual liberty and limited government is only compatible with a moral society who can govern their own actions. As a society becomes more immoral the more reason there is for government intervention.

Socialist central planning does not work. Government ought not exist to create the perfect society. The United States prospered due to limited government and individual liberty. The United States became the most powerful nation in the world. Who can argue with that? Today the U.S. is in decline as the principles upon which it was built are forgotten and lost.
