I'm not saying I disagree with the sentiment, just the tactic. It's great if they want to pat themselves on the back for making a spectacle, but nobody's mind was changed by this and, as I said, the protesters directly contributed to the folks they were protesting by buying tickets to the event.

To finish - I was at this performance, and the audience cheered when the protesters were removed. No minds were changed there. The protesters paid to get into the show, directly contributing resources in the form of money to Flynn and to the Ballet Company. They certainly were not hurt by this protest.

Has the Israeli government done things they shouldn't be proud of? Sure. Guess what? I'm a citizen of the US and I'm not proud of everything done in my country's name either, but this doesn't seem like the best way to get the message out.

this is not the way to protest against israel. these are dancers sharing their art. The israeli government is wrong on many levels, but why attack the arts? This type of childish attack gives the pro-palestinian movement a bad name. If we are to fight Israels policies, succumbing to such a level will never work. How many people do you really think you changed the mind of with such a stunt?
