I got to chapted 8, then I had to put the game down.My brain was going to explode.

...so you basically attack to fill mana, alternating Law and Chaos to get more crystals.Then you use Items to spend Mana to attack enemies.Then you try to line up a row or column of enemies by killing them.And recruit knights.And transoul them.And dodge bullets.And graze bullets to get bonus Exp.And watch where you attack because if a knight attacks too often his or her vit runs out and they die.And...ARGH!

OK Let's get a couple things straight

1. The game is absolutly BOSS!!!!! Like others are saying it just looks complicated and it's actually easier to get a hold of then it looks.

2. I've played.....AM playing this game and on everything I love I don't understand the story. I've tried really I have, and I often play RPGs and it's byproducts (JRPGs, SRPGs, etc) and I get a often most of them but this one utterly confuses me. BUT I still play it. THAT IS HOW IS BOSS THIS GAME.

Its not that complicated, you get used to it and start learning everything through the game as you play it. It just looks complicated because its a very busy game. Theres alot of things moving and happening at the same time.

I just picked this up and it's so worth it...unlike anything i've ever played. The tutorial is a must. i was playing the full game for about an hour after playing the tutorial before i realized what everything actually did...matter of fact, i'm still not quite sure of everything thats going on. LOL. But awesome game

You don't really need to look at all the tutorials just important ones like- items,recruiting,How to fight, key items, and breaking object to gain items. Key items can help gaining units,weapons and lower boss's rage meter. (ps. Maria can use EX skill if you use black feather like object) story makes you wanna know what happens but.. the ending is just .....

@lljohnballzll Did you get only one ending? There's another if you get the secret stage in a tile, I think its in a 2x stage, maybe 27th...

@TheJikou yep there are about more than 4 endings depending on how you do in chosen stages... when you play it 2nd time there are 2 more endings...

you must break a box or something to gain a stalf or spear that the female char needs.. (that will change the ending)

pretty sure that its around 30+ hours if you collect all the knights but around 20 hours if you try to breeze through it.

It's an entirely different sort of game than Riviera though...but then, at least you'll immediately grasp some things such as the enemy weaknesses. :)

Oh no, not saying it's not a good game, because it is. Actually, for me, I didn't realize that it actually was connected to Riviera until after I bought it (I mean, the art style and general style was similar, and Sting...but I didn't know for fact).

I don't know what yet (I only got the game myself not even a week ago) but it's set in the same universe. Also, as a bonus, if you have Yggdra Union and have it in the GBA slot while playing there are a couple easter eggs.

anyways, I never really got into yggdra union. I tried it on emulator to see if it was worth buying, but it disappointed me. it lacked the same art style and sense of exploration that I got from riviera. but at least KITK has a quirky battle system and art style that makes up for the lack of visuals in YU.

Truthfully, I haven't played Yggdra Union yet. I started to, then as happens to me at times, I got distracted by something else (probably Castlevania) and forgot about it. After I play KitN I'll probably go back to it (I did like what I played in my case).

The storyline flows for itself, there is no walking around, just battles and strategy. I think that's good in a sense, it throws you quickly into the action.

Man. Just started this game. What caught my eye? The trailer rolling on IGN. And it was beautiful. I loved the Luminous Arc titles, and I figured I'd give this a shot. And it is a HELL of a lot more complicated. Brilliant, complex, intuitive, and I love it so far.

And, I mean, C&C, SC, AoE. There's so much bullet hell in those games. All those bullet dodging skills I picked playing shmups sure helped me there.
