Most of this bands music is mostly pop. Only two songs on the CD can be considered Melodeath, and those are "The Fourth" and "Zero". Then "Your Face" is a mix.

this is on of the most weird albums on the earth..I just had the chance to listen a preview of the whole album and like 3-4 songs are melodeath the other are pure japanese pop...there is also a song in the album which mixes both totally different genres called "Your Face" =)))) Thanks for the upload man 5/5 for this song and all their other melodeath songs on the album

Some awesome stuff here. There are plenty of riffs and melodies reminiscent of classic Bodom songs, especially the lick at 2:17. That sounds like it came right off of Follow the Reaper.

This does not sound like the Japanese Metal band Ancestral I've heard, check out the Myspace page of theirs and it sounds nothing like this..No growling and a shit ton of J-popy elements....

I understand where your coming from dude, but people are constantly relating melodeath to bodoms sound, and most people just make this generilization, because Bodom is all they know, and worship when the truth is most of these underground melodic metal bands are much better.

@treeofpain1 I agree with you on that- not that I have anything against bodom.

Maybe it's just because bodom is very succesful around the world, but also because bodom has changed (or at least given a lot of influence) todays metal industry and "opened new doors", if you will.

But yeah, it's not right to compare every single band on the world to one band.

... there are copycats, but there is also lots of talented bands who have their own distinctive sound.
