@abisoxth it depends, if you have to cool a radiator generally the Silverstone is better for the high pressure. Where the pressure don't count (air cooling) the Noctua's are generally better.

no offence to Silverstone, but OEM fan manufacturers like Nidec, Delta etc.. have been using this technology in their fans since god knows when, so its not like a new technology that hasn't been used before.

That fan speed controller concept is terrible. It creates too much extra cable clutter. I much prefer the Antec's Tri-Cool concept which has that small dongle to switch between three fan speeds.

Nice built in grill. I like how the 3 pin connectors are all connected to the molex connector (won't loose them that way, and easy to swap). Those blades are wide. I bet it penetrats a lot of air.

i bet thats just a marketing thing, because it doesnt really matter how it blows, what matters is how much air a fan blows. silent maybe comfortable, but you always

sacrifice a percentage of cooling ability. that can do harm to your pc especially in summer. good and constant cooling makes the life of hardware longer.

@lolibusxd Actually, the idea is not to bad because fans usually disperse the air the push out. This means they create turbulence, which is not always what you need. For large CPU coolers for example, it helps to have a straight flow through the cooler. This creates less resistance, allowing more flow to pass through.

@alexkolpa buy a fan from zalman and you will love it, the only downside is the noise. sounds like an airplane is going to lift of from your room. maybe i overdid it but the reason for buying these was because of the previous fan not keeping the heat down. these ones are pretty good if you run your pc long and if its summer. the heatpipe attached from cpu to fan did some pretty good job, i guess. if i had the money i would thest the shit out of every fan and let you know which one is badass.
